The speed is great but it still needs work. There's the obvious sound looping, sprite problems, lack of (E) and (J) ROM support, and you have to keep filenames small.

I'd say wait for the final release, then again I'm a perfectionist.

Place BMPs in appropriate directories and change filenames to 'menu'.

Download Selfboot Inducer and the GenPlus .sbi from http://consolevision.com/members/sbiffy then follow the instructions within Selfboot Inducer itself.

NEO4ALL/AES MAME Sets

I heard that NEO4ALL/AES likes older MAME sets, does anyone have any old .dat files for use with clrmamepro, or know which versions are best? As a side note, is there a Last Blade 2 prefetch file out there?

Thanks for any help guys.

That was quick, is there a deadline for this project? I figured Genesis emulation would be completed first, but it seems like there's real work being done on the SNES front now.

Change the extensions to .bin or .smd, then zip them up. Make sure your ROMs are (U) or (W) versions as well, GenesisPlusDC doesn't like (J) and (E) ROMs. GoodGen will rename all your ROMs with a few keystrokes.

Did you manage to add a reset function to HuCast before the crash? How was the overall speed and accuracy? I'm sure the TG16 could be emulated faithfully on the Dreamcast, it'd just take someone with your talents to do the actual work. Here's hoping you didn't lose the source code. ;)

Status of Genesis, SNES & TG16 Emulation?

I've been out of the loop for awhile, what's the latest word? I figure DreamSNES and HuCast are dead in the water, but last I heard there was work being done on GenesisPlusDC. Should I keep my hopes up for polished Genesis emulation on the Dreamcast or just move onto the Xbox? I send my regards to e...

I thought you were working on a new TG16 emulator for a second there but I've already tried this one. I'd love to see smooth TG16 emulation on the Dreamcast, it seems like something feasible and there are a lot of gems on that system. If you need help with UI graphics or something non-technical like...

How's GenesisPlusDC Coming Along?

Is there any new word on GenesisPlusDC? Last I heard the sound was still being worked on and there were plans for a new interface. Any chance of being able to load (J) and (E) ROMs in the future too?

This emulator needs more attention people!

I'm sure someone with enough time and skill could get N64 running smoothly on the Dreamcast. I mean look at Bleemcast!, it's silky smooth AND has all kinds of graphical enhancements. There are only a handful of 'complete' emulators at this point though and they're for 8-bit stuff(NES, SMS, GBC). I d...

So basically we'll be able to dump a bunch of AES/MVS ROMs on a disc with the emulator and play to our hearts delight? Any chance with games like Metal Slug 3 that really get up there in terms of size?

Your Selboot Inducer folder should be C:\Sbinducr\, then move your SBI files to the Sbi folder, run Selboot Inducer, select the type of menu system you want, hit the barcode button, place your ROMs into the appropriate folders, go back to Selboot Inducer and burn. Now you said you're running Windows...

I'll be able to make an .sbi with this emulator right? I love the ZIP support and non-stretched/filtered mode, every emulator should have that.
