This is like the sonic 4 we have all been waiting for. This is also the best homebrew ive tried for dreamcast. Even for a "test build" this plays perfectly. When they start using the legal libs, i most likely will start a site/scene devoted to this and its mods.

There must be homebrew (legal) libs that match or better the quality of those wince libs that someone can easily recompile with. (when the source is released)

Retro Sonic Engine For Dreamcast

This DC test release version featuring 3 levels works great. It looks to currently be the best way to play all new sonic on your dreamcast until genesis emulation is improved.

depending on how bad the frameskipping is, most people would probably want a build with correct sound even with some frameskipping.

Amazing, ASSEMBler actually signed up here. He has been heading his website for many years which is usually the first and sometimes the only place for news on the latest protos, promos, demos, and betas for several platforms including dreamcast.

Many New Emulators/Homebrew for DC Released.

Quite a few emulators and homebrew have been released @ dciberia.net. If anyone can explain what some of the homebrew are, that would be appreciated.

Thats because the site has been temporarily moved to the emulation64 server which was already full and now is on overload. Having active forums is not possible right now. A new server has been ordered that has more speed and bandwidth then the old DOS'd one. I have no idea when the transfer to that ...

BoR ReVoLuTioN is back with all new 3 player release

We are back, and with it, we bring a 3 player release of Kirby's Openbor. If this gets a lot of positive feedback, Kirby will make a 4 player version as well.

Ive been with the scene for a long time. 06 should see development of new appz, games, emuz, and newly discovered programming techniques and ideas for dreamcast. I believe ports of other homebrew like AOTB and BOR will also bring many new fans to the table.

The arm's purpose is to direct sound in memory. The arm itself only has enough power to process very small sound samples and to dictate sound in memory. The arm is the slowest part of the dc hardware.
