I totally agree with fatheadpi on this one,
the saturn had a great cd player, and a cool demo to boot.
the DC CD-Player looks like it was rushed, thats not very good use of the technology. Maybe someone could incorporate the jpeg viewer into it as well?[/quote]

no that probably won't happen :( in order for Steve to make such a sucessful port to the DreamCast (Smash Pack), Sega must have handed over a ton of development goodies and stuff that no "regular programmer" could get his hands on. Using that to create a new version of the liscensed softwa...

none as far as I know... the reason is because the original nes had only 2 controller ports, so all the nes games (and consequently all the roms) were designed with that limitation in mind. Whether some hacked games exist which allow 1-4 players I don't know. NesterDC and FrNES for the DC only have ...

YES you can! (sorry about the microsoft quote ;) The only way to play DivX on your DreamCast is to convert the Div-X *.avi to SofDec Data Format (*.sfd) using Sega Dreamcast Movie Creator (sorry, no link). SFD is the format the dreamcast is playing any type of movie intro you see on your DC games. H...

0.93 vs. 0.94

This may sound like a stupid question...
doesn't .93 support frameskip? (Tails said so!!!)
Also, what exactly are the benefits (if any) of .94 over .93?

Why? You would not be able to save to the .SRM, because it is already burnt on CD. Just get a VMU. DSNES allows you to autosave to it.

Fujifilm are the best....you can burn them at practically any speed and recieve great results, so they are the best choice. TDK are also good,... i've never bought junk media b4 so i can't say what not to use, even the cheap ones seem to work just as good if you burn at 4X or lower. Don't know what ...

IUG thinks we have to own the cartridge to get the rom...well, thats true but in this case the rom is homemade and should never have been sold as a cartidge in the first place. Legally. roms (commerical or whatever) can remain on your hard drive for 24 hours for testing if you wish (legally!). After...

hey tails power, you reminded me of a question thats been bothering me... Why was Snes9x chosen as the emu of choice (to port to DC as dreamSNES), when the best PC-emu out there is obviosly ZSNES? ZSNES is multi-platform (DOS and win9x), full-speed, hardly any glitches, tons of options, and every ro...
