Honestly, I thought 3 was middling at best. Sure, the plot is a little more original than 2 (but then, 2 is basically a compilation of every JRPG trope ever), but there is some weirdness. The characters seem to be sort of floaty in their movement, for one thing. Also, the plot still isn't very GOOD...

I mean, I can't disagree the game was pretty boring at times. And I know exactly what you mean about the opening being way too long. It's whats stopped me from multiple playthroughs, but I mean, really you would've only had to sit through it once had you saved it.

They're both gay and they both don't have balls.

I didn't consider it a must have either, until I got about half way through. The reviews for the DC version are pretty much universally good.
