Re: Getting started with programming again/
@ChillyWilly: Your toolchain compiled KOS r676 without a problem but it appears we have to use your enviroment path(s) which I just don't want to do, I'll have to build it myself :). However the latter log has undefined references to _fini and _init but KallistiOS has them defined in a compile time ...

Re: Wolf4SDL\DC
... What this means though is that you could only have one mod, or original game on a disc. Is there a way a selected folder on the disc could be loaded from a list entry? (Instead of the default 'wolf3d') I started thinking about a mod list based on "Robert's Jukebox" menu but the code i...

Re: Getting started with programming again/
I am actually looking forward to DC Dev ISO R5 with the latest pre-built tool chains and latest revision of KOS. :? :) Me too, are there any plans for this? r4 is good but too outdated. Have any of you got any GCC 4 XX working? I tested some versions and tried but didn't quite get it to work...

It doesn't appear to work on lxdream... current directory (.) & parent directory (..) are listed after one of my ROMs. *shurgs*
The only thing I can think of is creating my own menuing system and building DCGnuBoy up upon that.

Re: Getting started with programming again/
I can keep us up-to-date with the pre-built toolchains for GNU/Linux platforms, I have a bunch of unreleased junk on my other PC at my Mom's storage like the same as DC Dev Environment (Cygwin) only the MinGW team's installer doesn't have local package install implemented. I'm working on dna at the ...

Re: gnuboy zip support?
Here's an update for the menu bug -- hope it works; lxdream doesn't support multiple key presses so I didn't get to test it but, it ran the demo I threw at it.

Re: Getting started with programming again/
@BlueCrab: Oh, revision 657. The tutorial on the wiki needs to be updated -- either a new pre-built toolchain or a note where KallistiOS is pulled from the SourceForge repository that the last version to work with our current toolchain available for download requires an older revision of KallistiOS.

Re: Getting started with programming again/
I tried compiling KOS' current revision with GCC 3.4.6 but I had to use an older revision (561 at the very least).

Try data\data. Older CD recorders don't support audio\data.

Re: Compiling Makaqu 1.3 with DC Dev Iso R4
Makaqu's development always progressed slowly, this time won't be different. Sorry for the late answer. All releases of nxMakaqu (the Dreamcast version) were compiled using a slightly modified version of the DC Dev ISO R1. I've fixed the mouse buttons in the KOS driver, and can't remember if there ...
