Re: Question about XBox live

let me know if it works, because last i tried, you can migrate a live account back and forth only if it originated on the original xbox (because it required a credit card) and if you try to do an account recover, thats the one thing it asks for.

but this was while ago when i tried so idk.

ATI X1950PRO 256MB DDR3 PCI-E card for sale.

As title states, it's for sale. Comes with original box, manuals, crossfire cable. (has the new internal crossfire setup). The card was never left overclocked or anything (only processor/ram was) It's a single slot style card, and i honestly think it's quieter then my geforce 6200. I'm asking 100$ s...

Re: VirtualPC

thats why i said "more oem" The other reasons you would do that is HP has a tendancy to pull drivers off there website/not host 100% of them. Gateway does the same thing. That way in order to "properly install it" (i know the drivers can be found elsewhere, but only a small % of ...

Re: VirtualPC

^^Actually whats a better, more OEM way to do it is to just make the recovery cd's. In programs, pc help and tools hp has a recovery cd creation tool. It takes 2 DVD+r's and about an hour and a half to make. do those first. As for running virtual PC on Vista, you can do it but i didn't find it very ...

Re: It's been awhile for me.

the graphics in that computer will probably be a little bit of a downgrade for you. Vista runs fricken' smooth on 2+gb's of ram, so i wouldn't worry about that. 400gb of hdd space is a decent amount. I wouldn't get that expecting to game on it immediately. defiantly expect to spend ~100+ on a card f...

Re: So on this video card thing...

i could swear it supports DVI, hdmi, component, svideo, and composite. It comes with a DVI-HDMI adapter...but either way, my monitor (HP w1907) supports hdcp, and the tv it's connected to has an hdmi input as well.

Re: Help me purchase a tuner card.

I know, but thats what i mean when i say i'm not using the card as a tuner. I'm going to hook my cable box up to it w/ component cables, and use an IR Blaster and tune it that way (through the cable box). that way i can still use my computer as a PVR, but not loose any features (like the movies on d...

Re: -CyberCrime Prosecution- Question? Please help.

I would suggest you talk to a lawyer, and stop the 'fukk', for fucks sake! ;)

I've done this before, but i mean even with our help/advice, there's nothing else you can do until you talk to a lawyer.

Re: BIOSHOCK! Demo Up, GO GO GO!

Played the 360 demo it was really good, but i ended up downloading the pc demo just because i wanted to see how it ran, and i was able to run it in full 1440x900 w/ all the settings turned up and never saw it slow down at all (core 2 6300, 2gb ram, 256 X1950 Pro). I'm very impressed with how well th...

^^ Yeah, we have a dreamcast section, but tbh i, and i'm sure other's, don't really go in there any more.
And while cool the dc is still getting recognized, it sucks it's not a "game", and just another 2d shooter.

Re: How many storage devices do you use?

Just curious. I just reinstalled xp, and as i'm connecting all of my hard drives i'm deciding if i should just get 2 of the 1TB hitachi drives. For me, i've got: 2 160 GB Hdd's. (one with vista one with xp) 1 80 GB hdd for "storage" 1 100gb 2.5" external 1 300gb 3.5" external 16...

The only way i got ours to kind of stop is to lock it in the bathroom with his litter/food. And it only kinda stopped him because even though he doesnt attack the feet anymore, about once a week he'll wake us up by rubbing against and laying across our faces at about 7am.

Re: Looking for new motherboard, 775 and crossfire ready.

I decided not to bother doing anything with ram timings and whatnot until i get better/faster ram. This kingston value ram has been good so far but i think it's the reason i can't hit the 400 mark (litterally, 399 works but damn hot, 400 won't boot) Overall i'm still really impressed with how stable...
