It is displaying graphics and playing sound. I can see the menu and go through it, but once the game starts there is no level, its just filled with blocks. Perhaps I should have removed the cvs-folders?

Thanks for posting it. However, it dosn't seem to work very well. I cannot selec level (there are no levels when trying to change) and no mather which I choose I get to a screen filled with blocks. Also, it all runs very slow. Perhaps I did something wrong when burning it?

Is there any differences between 0.84 and this cvs compiler? Any added functions or something removed or other things to think about?

Dangnabbit, I was working on that, too! Crying or Very sad Crying or Very sad
It was going to be my first port...
Im not certain if GPF's version is the latest 1.6. If it is not, you can try porting that version.

I really appreciate that you work on the DC Fenix runtime. Fenix is a great language perfect for making 2d-style games and I like it a lot. Nice to see a new version of the runtime. Ill try it with my next game which will be finished within a week. I will check the save-examples as well, since I hav...

Those truly are fantastic. Thanks for taking them all. Will be perfect to send to friends who doubt the DC's power, since as you mentioned, most screenshots around the net are sadly of very low quality.
Wish more people would capture screens through the VGA-Output. :)

Damn! That really is amazing. I don't think I have ever managed more than 20 customers. I really like the game, perhaps I should play it more. Anyway, Id love to see a video of that. Or parts of it. Would be interesting to see how its done...

1.1 sounds promising! Especially being able to run in 640x240 resolution.
I guess network-play for us without BB-adapter is still far away, but otherwise that would be a nice addition (And a first. :)). I don't have any other ideas for the moment, but Ill post if I have.

Sounds fun! I voted for yes. New ports are always wellcome and moddable games tend to multiply a lot. So you'll always find something to your liking. :)

I found this while browsing around : http://jdolan.dyndns.org/jaydolan/quetoo.html
Its supposed to be an optimized version of the Quake2 source. I don't know if this is easier to port to DC since the main problem still is the memory, but it might be a better start to build on if someone wants to try.

Sounds like an interesting idea. I and some friends have started working on a bigger DC-project, and we could probably spend more time on it, if we could get some money back after it is released, by releasing it as shareware. (Since I doubt it get its own release :)). Anyway, nice idea.

Latest version of Super Mario War

I just found out there is a new version of the game Super Mario War available : http://smw.72dpiarmy.com/ There is a DC-port of one of the older versions, but later versions have added many new gamemodes, powerups, etc. So I wonder if someone could port the new version of Super Mario War to Dreamcas...

Id love to see a page more pages like that. The design looks great. Sadly I cannot help with capturing screens (Chancast doesn't run in Linux as far as I know. Haven't tried though..). But a great place to fins high-res screens is here : ftp://segapr.segaamerica.com/SEGA_ARCHIVES/Dreamcast_Games/ Se...

0.84(b) is the latest and that is the one I use. I don't know which versions that work with the DC-runtime but 84 certainly does.
