Dream On Contest Entry
Anyone who has heard something about what happens to the Dream On Contest now? I don't want to rush anyone, im just wondering if I can release the game I submitted to the compo or if I should wait. It just feels a bit boring to have a completed DC-game laying around my harddrive with no one playing ...

I wish someone would release an SBI or a CD-image. I did not manage to get it to work when putting it all together with Maqaku. But I might have missed something, so Ill take another look around the documentation. This release seems very impressive as usual so it would be really nice to try, even th...

Wouldn't it be possible to easily implement support for four M7-fields at once in Fenix, I mean for the guys working on the engine. Maybe they'll take requests ? Perhaps. The developers of Fenix are currently working on an all new version, but I guess it will still take some time before its done. B...

Sorry for not returning to you later. It seems this would not be possible to do in Fenix. The current version can only handle one M7-field at the same time, so any multiplayerfunctions would be impossible to implement. Better look for someone who knows C. Or it could be a 2d-game instead, something ...

You could either use KGL, or parallax. Parallax would probably be the best bet - it's more difficult to use, but you get a lot more control, and it can be a lot faster. Would the Holly3D engine be possible to use once released? And would that make it easier? Or perhaps Holly3D is an engine of its o...

Is that Planet Harriers? If I remember right, it was a Naomi-arcade game which was supposed to get a DC release. There was even a video of it included in a japanese DC Demo-CD. However, it was never released, which is a pity, since it looks fantastic and another rail-shooter on the DC could compensa...

It would be very nice to see the cd. I really don't have any problems at all with the mag taking time. I mean, its such a small amount of money and its so long ago it doesn't matter for me now anyway. If I get a mag, which I still believe I will get, becuase I trust MetaFox, it will be nice. If not,...

Well, I like the idea. Ill look into it. It would be fun to make a game when someone else is creating the graphics. Because Im not very good at that myself. :) I will do some tests checking whetever it will work in Fenix and how hard it will be. If the results are good I can probably do the programm...

Modding is a good idea as well. I suppose I could do a kartracer like this, if someone else did the graphics. Not certain about map-editor, but it might work. However, it would probably turn out much better if someone else did it. Problem for me is I doubt I have time for a new project at the moment...

Nice idea! Indeed, Fenix would work well for this type of game. I made an F-Zero like game in it a little while ago which played fine on DC. (http://www.freewebtown.com/Imerion/silverwingscreen1.png) Its frozen currently, since Im working on two other projects. Four player support is a problem thoug...
