Thanx Styrofoam. Oh, and scykon, hell no my logo isn't registered. I'm not going to pay that kind of money to avoid fraud when all I have to do is scare the ignorant people of the world into believing it is! As for the alternative to frames. Yeah server side includes was what I was going f...

I agree with almost everything. The frames issue. Man, I've tried so freakin' hard to rid me of frames. Having that kind of navigation without frames is damn hard to me. I've tried a lot of stuff. For a while I just accepted that my site had frames and now there isn't a damn thing I can do about it....

I SO much agree about the flash thing. That was Coal, not me who said that. The very farthest I'd go is have two buttons that say 'flash' or 'html'. About the fonts. yeah, I realized that was an issue. I don't really know what to do. The website looks damn awesome (in my opinion) for those who do ha...

Critique thechaosrift.com?

Would you guys mind telling me what you think of my site? I spend hours on that mother... I just wanna know if I'm heading in the right direction. I asked a web developing forum to critique it and HOLY SHIT! I may as well asked them shove a brick up my ass and kick me off a cliff. All that they did ...

C vs. C++

Seriously, I have scrounged up barely enough pennies to afford one programming book. I want this book to aid me in my DC development, nah, more guide me. Without this book I'm nothing. I'm wondering, C or C++ book. I've heard good things about C, but is C a very useful language for other things besi...

Naw, Naw, I'm no graphix whore. I like Saturn over N64. If you compare the graphics of the two it is like comparing the value of gold to cardboard.

So, I'm getting a 32X. Will somebody tell me exactly how the SegaCD games with the 32X enhancements or whatever work? I just can't visualize it.

Awwwww... Shit. I feel for you dude. I do. I'm some geeky ass fourteen year old fool who knows nothing but video games and his website. Taking your life is not the key, but I'm not going to diss you for considering it. Maybe, you should sell your soul to the Dreamcast development cause like I have. ...

Sega... 32X?

My random Dreamcast obsession has lead me to buy all sorts of things. I bought Samba De Amigo, and even my first Sega Saturn. Now, I'm looking for Sega Genesis attachments. On ebay, I found SegaCD. For just a bit more, I could get 32X with it. I've heard lots of people talk trash about the 32X (But ...

But piracy on the PSX didnt drive developers away like it did on the DC which meant our beloved machine died while the parasitical PSX flourished
LOL! It is true! Thats the best way I've ever heard it put. I need to put that on my website somewhere...

Maximo2703, in SA1, sadly, you have to get 100% with every character to get to the awesome part. That stupid 'big the cat'. That was the roughest part in the whole game. I almost gave up. Lately I've gone into a deep depression being a huge fan of the ending fights on Sonic games. Has anybody here g...

Web Development jerks

I don't know if any of you have noticed, but Web Development people on forums are JERKS! When I came to this forum, I expected to be randomly verbally insulted and such. But what do I get instead? A warm welcome, tons of free emulators, and more help than I'll ever need. This is how all forums shoul...

Nero 6 problems?

I have downloaded Nero 6. I was using it to try to burn NesterDC. First I did it at 48X. I've tried the burning tool, I've tried everything. Then I burned it at 4X, nothing worked. I read somewhere, dunno where, that Nero 6 had problems burning what I need to and that I should use Nero 5. Is this co...

So where did your DC obsession start?

What got you hooked on Dreamcast? Was it Samba De Amigo? Phantasy Star? Resident Evil Code: Veronica? C'mon spill it. I remember when my life long addiction started. Ahhhhhh... It seems like just yesterday. You remember Sonic Adventure 1, don't you? Of course you do, no DC owner is without it. I'd p...

Holy crap, you guys are awesome. I'm glad I've decided to sell my soul to the DC development cause. I rode my bike to the library about five minutes ago to pick up a 'C in 21 days book'. And I'll be testing your guys' examples and using the tutorials soon. (I don't actually get the cable till easter...

Something to start with?

Can somebody just put the most simple, uncomplex, peice of C++ that'll run on the Dreamcast after being compiled. I've just got a coder's cable and I am about to explode because I want to do something with it. I don't even know C++, so an easy equivalent to 'hello world' would be nice for my underst...
