Well, we haven't any Burger King restaurant's in our area, so let it be McDonald's.
But their food only tastes well when you're really hungry.

Re: In The Line Of Fire - Coming Soon!
Virtua Cop 2 is a game from the Saturn era; it's one of the best-looking Saturn games. Had it been originally developed for the Dreamcast, of course it could have used higher res textures and higher poly models, while retaining the same visual style. In The Line Of Fire has already covered those as...

Re: In The Line Of Fire - Coming Soon!
Interesting input on art direction. I tend to agree with both arguments - both artistic and technical sides are important. But I'm not sure I like Virtua Cop, for me it looks bland too, but maybe it's a deal of preference (beauty is in the eye of the beholder, right?) For me Jet Set Radio better app...

With shadows it will look more like this https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=GpEYvABt9yc Then you add a particle effect for smoke out of vents etc and things come to life. Yep, looks like its a level for debugging purposes. Also, i think they should make textures less repetitive, it will add some level o...

Re: In The Line Of Fire - Coming Soon!
I understand that I may sound like a total asshole and dickhead, but graphics looks a little bit rusty, even by Dreamcast standards.

Re: Best format for skeletal meshes in DC?
Which open format for skeletal meshes is preferred for running on DC? MD5? IQM? Can't tell anything on or against the usage of the specific formats you've provided, but I can elaborate on points you might want to estimate before picking one: 1. Memory If it eats a lot of memory then it's probably n...

Re: Shenmue and Shenmue 2 engine
Well, Shenmue engine already used some nifty tricks to get the big levels working, especially big central street of the main level - it used billboards (planes with textures, texture was pre-rendered part of the level, as seen from the players perspective), and when player went close enough to this ...

Re: PVR Data Format Documentation?
Thank you. One more question. Isn't then creating a homebrew software and KallistiOS project in particular a copyright infringement? It is impossible to create something like KOS without technical documentation and specifications, and I think those documents are too never supposed to leave SEGA's of...

Re: Using blender models in KGL (is jfm the best option?)
So you're rolling down your own format ? Ryo, I think you misunderstand this XKCD. Dev is not trying to create a universal standard. This is a proprietary file format only for the Dreamcast and it serves a purpose that is not fulfilled by others. I think we misunderstood each other. I got what he w...

Re: Using blender models in KGL (is jfm the best option?)
I'm sorry, but why not just export the model to some well-know format, like md2 format, and then parse it on the DC side?
