I can't help you with the second question though.....some VGA-Boxes support multiple outputs.

I used a RGB cable, but at that time not all games supported 60Hz yet. Also the overall inferiour quality of PS2 games at that time made me dump the system within a couple of weeks. I you played DOA2 on the DC & PS@ you'll know what I'm talking about.
