32 year old woman buys 6 items, including tampons and Haggen-Daaz ice cream. She places them in a neat order at the cash register. A drunk comes behind, belches, and says calmly, "You're single." The woman is shocked. Not just because of the drunk behind her, it was because he was right. &...

The book was published in 1948. I've read older books, and they've been easier reads, IMHO, than 1984, even with ye old 'nglish! Nevertheless, 1984 is still a very good read. And yes, I've seen Brazil. I've seen most of the director's films, actually. Gilliam is one of the more imaginative directors...

I have to read this book! I heard it's a similar story to my all time favorite movie 'Brazil'. It's a very influential book. Even videogames have taken snippets from the book, including the upcoming Half-Life 2. It's a good read for the story, but Orwell isn't the best 'technical writer'. Read most...

It wouldn't make the transfer rate any faster (or significantly faster).

I'm not even going to try to read that (I haven't even gotten to the second chapter of 1984), but I don't think your literary efforts are going to repair anything. The damage is done.

Hell of a try (and quite a long one), though.

I think FreeSCI takes care of the Sierra end. And saves can get pretty big, if you ask me. They work great, though.

I think that's the point of not releasing it: Trying to hurt the scene. Some form of punishment. err, not at all. i think ive told my reasons too often, although it was quite obvious. then if you still didnt understand dont post this sort of crap. Hey, it's not like I'm posting a lie. True, perhaps...

Well, I guess the only reason you could release what you've worked on is that so that you didn't waste all of your time working on your changes to RADQuake. I know that there are a handful of people that may seem ingrateful and even hateful towards you, but I'm sure there's a handful of people that ...

I for one am looking forward to Lunkin's Journey and if Radquake can offer what it needs without making sacrifices then not releasing it will only hurt the scene. I think that's the point of not releasing it: Trying to hurt the scene. Some form of punishment. Nevertheless, just saw that movie clip,...
