Re: FF8 help.
There is a warning before she casts Apocalypse ("drawing Apocalypse"), so you should really be prepared for it. But if you still get wiped out even when fully healed then... maybe you need more hp? lol sorry, not much help :? Instead of watching the ending on youtube, maybe you should look...

Re: FF8 help.
It's been so long, all I remember was using loads of Elixirs/Megalixirs to heal and Aura to dish out the damage (Squall and Irvine).
Have you got the bahamut card? You can get 100 Megalixirs from it.

Yeah, and Fei LongDew wrote:When you think about it, Bruce Lee has inspired a lot of different video games. I mean look at Liu Kang and Kung Lou from MK, Jann Lee from DOA, etc.
Anyway, the clip was from Way of the Dragon

Re: Post everytime that you buy a new game...
Well, it happened. Though I wasn't expecting on getting one so soon, I just happened to be at the right place at the right time and...well... Playstation 3 (60GB) - $350 if I was to ever buy a ps3, I would have waited til the new one with a bigger hdd comes out. But for that price, that's a good de...

Play-Asia has been reliable for me in the past. NCSX too, but they don't have it in stock.

Re: Yakuza 2 (Ryu ga gotoku 2) coming to US
There is a lot more action in Yakuza, but there are many elements that are similiar to Shenmue. For instance the city exploration. The place is filled with people, and plenty of distractions to visit/do such as shops; restaurants; a batting cage and even a Club Sega arcade (you can't play any of the...

Yakuza 2 (Ryu ga gotoku 2) coming to US
about fucking time http://uk.ps2.ign.com/articles/821/821915p1.html The first game was a flop in america, and now that we've entered a new generation of consoles, this has come as a very surprising announcement by sega. Not that I'm complaining, because I loved the first game. It was the closest thi...

Re: FF8 help.
Man, you made it hard for yourself for missing out on carbuncle and dispel  Maybe you should concentrate your best junctions on squall (or whoever is your best attacker). Junction Blind to your attack and Thundaga/Quake to your defense would help. This may be classed a spoiler, it's not story r...

Re: Great games no one played
I'm sure some of you have heard of it, but it being on the Mega-CD and an adventure game I wouldn't think a lot of people played it: Snatcher
Basically if you've enjoyed adventure games like the ones for the DS (Phoenix Wright, Hotel Dusk), then there's a good chance you'll love Snatcher.

Re: Folklore on PS3
I was pleasantly surprised with this demo, I wasn't really expecting much when I first heard about the game. I liked the controls. Taking the souls with the sixaxis blended well with the gameplay, and wasn't something that was tacked on just for the sake of it. But I don't see the game going beyond ...

I'm looking forward to trying out Monster Hunter Freedom 2. Always had this series in the corner of my eye but just never got round to playing them. It's a shame there's no online mode in this one, it's just begging for it!

Re: Hoax of the month
I would love to see Shenmue 3 :( There are rumours that Sega have thrown the entire Shenmue franchise out the window: "Shenmue Online is fucked and Suzuki's status is, once again, up in the air, which counts Shenmue III totally out of the picture right now. This is confirmed, it seems" ne...
