I'm not a child of the meds like LiENUS and other such tards... but uh... the friendliness was only to keep the thread from being locked longer than usual... oh and uh... I didn't know there was three in the works... just DCGen and Gen-emu...

Goodbye to all friendliness and holding back, despite the fact that you are pathetically joking (this is for Cless).

I haven't given anyone betas except for toastman and one other person who'll remain nameless; I don't want people bugging them.

Eh I would have great quality ones but no one wants to get off their ass and use their BBAs for the direct vram dump feature :P... (that is, for the people that actually already have it)...

At least somebody can do the math for themselves... indeed it's only averaging 25% speed... it varies from game to game, anywhere from 21-29%... the only reason I gave toast a beta at the time was to get some more screenshots/footage anyway... it's not really worth having... and I imagine at the mom...

Sorry most of the screenshots shown so far are of Sonic, but that's always the game tested first to make sure everything still works :)

Ah I just noticed something else in your post:
You could be loved by many if you just showed a little respect for your fans.
I have absolutely no interest in that whatsoever. Maybe you have noticed that by now.

I'm not bitter for no reason. Realize there is life away from the forums as well. As far as calling you a tard and mentioning CV, someone flooded yesterday, the second time it's happened specifically like this, with the text along the lines "clessnolosergetridofbadgeandistop"... the first time it ha...

Well there are a few half ass answers to this: 1) Cygwin 2) one of those silly Linux-on-windows things that boot from an image file on a FAT32 a better solution: acquire a copy of Partition Magic (7 or whatever is newest these days, I have 7), and non-destructively repartition whatever free space yo...

Musashi 68k, and MAME Z80. Not the fastest stuff in the world, but the VDP is the biggest speed bottleneck at the moment. If people were holding back on working on DCGen because of the whole competition thing (I'd asume that's not the reason anyone isn't working on it, it's just because they bitch f...

Uhm... I can say with fair certainty that DGen will be one of the slowest emulators Genesis emulators on the DC if you port it. Why? Because its one of the slowest on PC as well. You made a sh1tty shareware game back in the 80's. Big whoop. Get over yourself. Note that a lot of young people got game...

If you have no idea how to fix these kinds of things on your own, you should give up, seriously. That's also what happens when you have a braindead/broken environment setup, but that's beyond the point at this moment. If you can't figure out how to update the initialization code between KOS revision...

Hmm... for which platform do you want to add these changes? If it's PC, you could look for other emulators that are open source that use it... I also assume the site for that netplay library would have API documentation... for anything else, you are pretty much S.O.L. until the code for the lib is o...

Some people make the claim "Oh, well, I want to be able to play my GBA games on a TV." A perfectly valid claim, one that now will have TWO ways to be achieved (using legitimate GBA carts). One is to get the TV adapter thing where you have to rip off the back of your Gameboy. Meh. The other is to use...

qatmix: you are SERIOUSLY confused... the games might be measured in megabit sizes, but the ACTUAL sizes are anywhere between 4 megabytes (32 megabits, Mario Advance for example) up to 64 megabytes (512 megabits).

Also note you are wrong, GBA roms can be anywhere between 4 megabytes and 64 megabytes (most average 16 iirc)... hell even I dragged up a topic about it which met an untimely death due to stupid mods (I at least had credible info backing up mine, because I did my research before posting)... just don...
