I agree with Wraggster... Tyne and Fragger do both deserve to be QuakeDev mods... I would be a little upset but not totally surprised if my mod status got removed at that same time. : / I've simply not had time for Quake or DC related things for several months now... I do want to get back to this st...

I've opened this topic long enough to add a couple words of my own. (Edit) This is a bit after the rest of the post was written and posted... I just read DARKHALO2k's post in his 'DCQuake: The Rise and Fall' topic. I agree with pretty much everything he said and kinda makes me want to remove this po...

I'm wondering if Rand is thinking about making a Palm compatable version... The new palm V models use ARM processors... and since it is written in ARM ASM I wouldnt think conversion would be toooo much. I have a Handspring Treo 600... (with its 144mhz ARM processor and low res 160x160? display) So I...

Hey... My tutorial is long lost... it went away with my hypermart site a year or so ago. Most of my knowledge on how to do that stuff is gone too... I'd have to dig in and experiment to figure it all out again. I do remember when I was doing it Quark wasnt able to read Q3 models right. (I'm sure its...

I like the mp3/ogg idea but I'd be worried about the memory and processor time that would be used to do it... Now if you was to actually force the ARM processor and 2mb sound memory to do that work the load wouldnt be as great. And Ian... whats this about frameskip? Quake is happy running at 10-15fp...

hmm... looks like you grabbed one of the small (minimal) distributions. The one you got doesnt have the WinCE folder? What I'd suggest is getting the Quake shareware files from Id software if you dont already have them. http://www.idsoftware.com/games/quake/quake/index.php?game_section=demo And get ...

Hey Tyne... I was a bit worried when I saw the size of the latest corporal models I have. Same with the zombie... I was worried that the multi textures may be a bit too much. I didn't say anything at the time because it wasn't the final version... because I trust your judgement and playtesting and b...

I figured out what you was talking about. (just had to play the level through once) It took me a minute to figure out how to do it. Then when I did I figured it out totally on accedent. At the top of the ramp next to where the mega health and quad are is a hanging overhead light that is flashing. (y...

long time no see... welcome back. pretty much all the gl- calls are renamed d3d- in the titanium studios port. d3d-flashblend doesn't work right because quakedc does not support dynamic lighting. No dynamic lighting at all. Incase you missed its release and updates you should check out RADQuake. Its...

If its the place I'm thinkng of you jump in the pool and shoot the odd looking spot in the bottom. That opens up and you go into a long tunnel. A the the end of that tunnel it abruptly changes directions. There is another odd looking spot you shoot there that opens up another secret wall that leads ...
