Re: Nintendo announces the Nintendo 1DS! (yes, it's a joke)

But still Sky, He bought a domain, hosted it, copy pasted the layout, then photoshopped original photographs for the device. Why? I like making jokes but if I were to put in this much effort I would like to make some profit. Domains are dirt cheap, hosting could be done locally. He could have done ...

Re: Nintendo announces the Nintendo 2DS! (nope, not April fo

They published first person shooters. Resident Evil was not published by Nintendo but it was funded. They tried to make Metroid and Zelda mature, I was actually interested in playing Twilight Princess caused it looked so realistic. Nintendo made an overt attempt with the Gamecube to capture mature ...

That looks like it could be done with minimal effort. Admittedly I haven't looked at the Nintendo site for a while, it appears to be a duplicate of the Nintendo site just with this 1 page.

Re: Nintendo announces the Nintendo 2DS! (nope, not April fo

I think the 2DS is a good choice for not only kids like Matisfaction pointed out, but also for those that would like a cheaper priced DS and who can't see 3D. My gf can't see the 3D so if I didn't already own one, she'd probably get the 2DS.

The Game Cube wasn't a failure. It didn't sell as well as Xbox or PS2 and didn't sell as much as the N64, but it wasn't a failure.

Woo! A couple episodes to go and there's only been like 6 good episodes this season. Real relevant!

Re: MSRP

To add another comparison into the mix, the RRP for most new release games in Australia is anywhere from $89.95 - $109.95 with our tax already included in the price. Then there are the stores that never actually charge RRP and put it anywhere from $79.95 - $99.95 depending on where you shop. As it i...

I was going to suggest that and use GifCam. I seem to recall a Mr Bean episode with one of these in it. You could find that clip and record it!

Re: Cd's vs DVD

Hmmm... I thought CD's were cheaper. They very well could be. But if you need to split costs between CD and DVD, it may end up more expensive. The money they save on buying CDs vs DVDs, assuming CDs are cheaper, could be offset by buying a larger number of DVDs instead. If a company orders x amount...

Re: Cd's vs DVD

Software yes, but what about video? It requires much more data, then one Cd can handle. Before the DVD there were even perverted formats like VCD, where you had a need to a switch a CD after a watching half of a movie. Also, some software, requires much more space then 700MB. Take a look at 3ds max...

Re: Xbox One announcement

Who the hell considered the Xbox backwards compatible with Dreamcast? I know you could play Master System on Mega Drive with an adapter, but could you play NES on SNES? Also I don't consider the ability for the SNES to play Gameboy as backwards compatible as they're 2 completely different systems. I...

Re: Raspberry Pi

Get a USB modem and see if you can set up a PC-DC dialup server. There's really no reason it wouldn't, as long as the modem itself works with Linux. I'd do this, but I really have no reason to spend the money when I could just as easily use my old Mac Mini for that purpose if I wanted a dialup serv...

Re: IAN MICHEAL PRESENTS: WHISPERED SECRETS

Where it says "Do you get up? Or are you lazy..." does that imply you have a choice? What happens if you don't get up? Does the game finish? Perhaps you're treated to that picture of Reaper's wife in nothing but a tshirt as you hear his attempt at singing in the background.

I have 2. One runs XBMC in my bedroom for if I feel like streaming stuff while in bed as my computer is in a different room. The other one I don't do too much with. There was a mod I saw online where a dude put it into a keyboard (not the Ben Heck one) and that's what I want to do eventually. I'll l...
