SCPH-30001 could be any version 1-4. The SCPH-30001 R is version 5. You have to check the serial number and date code to figure it out. Here is a link that might be helpful to you: http://www.modchip.ca/help/whatps2.php. There is a "magic chip" that will work for each model so far. When I ...

I want to contact someone on ebay but......

I dont have an account, and I absolutely will not put any credit card information to a web site. Is there any way to register without giving a credit card number?

I dont know of any tutorial pages, but its pretty much just like modding a DC. Just desolder the LED and resolder what you like. To replace the case its just like a puzzle, just remember the order of what you did, then reverse it.

I am like ninja, I spend way more time modding my DC than playing it. Same with psx. I havent touched my psx since I got my ps2, but last night I changed the LED and case for it. I think modding is a lot more interesting and fun than most of the games. I still mostly play my DC than any other new ge...

White LED looks sweet

White LED looks sweet for the DC LED mod. I changed the blue LED to white and I think it looks 10x better. I also took out the green LED I put in the modem and replaced it with the blue LED. I am so glad I screwed around with all different LEDs. Now I think my DC looks Perfect :D

I just did a LED power on/case change on my playstation. I changed the case to smoke black, and I put in a red blinking LED in for the power light. My question is, I do not know what the voltage is on the power supply board or what the voltage on the original green LED is, and I also do not know wha...

Synlor, how much did you pay for your Z64 when you bought it? I was suckered into 320$. It was brand new, andit took like 3 months to get it imported. Since it took me so long to get it, I wouldnt sell mine for any less than I paid, and if you were to sell yours, I would think you should do the same...
