Actually, since Lik-Sang never payed Sony a dime, I don't see how they can cast blame on them. Sounds to me like they are closing down to avoid having to pay the suit (if it is even valid). Although the Sony quote only referenced one suit, the article about the closure mentioned multiple suits. But...

umm are you crazy? He's not the Emperor or the Pope who has to be surrounded by bullet-proof glass and ninjas and if you catch of glimpse of his face you're turned into a donkey. He's the vice president. He (and the president) go to things and shake hands with people and touch babies all the time. H...

Dick Cheney: criticism = assault

Criticizing Cheney to His Face Is Assault? Steve Howards says he used to fantasize about what he?d say to President Bush or Vice President Cheney if he ever got the chance. That opportunity arrived on June 16, the same day he says he read about U.S. fatalities in Iraq reaching 2,500. Howards says h...

Not everyone's OS can be so unpopular that people don't bother to write viruses for it. Windows users always say that to make themselves feel better, but I don't think there's any truth to it. The Mac OSes < 10 all had viruses, and most of those propagated before even the rise of the Internet. OS X...

A few companies even go so far as to grow "chickens" that are basically just meat bulbs--they lack fully-developed heads, and are maintained on IV systems. Seems like that would be a lot more expensive and a lot less efficient than raising conventional chickens. Seriously, do you (DaMadFi...

I think it's remarkable how she claims (twice in that painful Fox interview) that "God controls the hearts of Men" (i.e., causing them to murder innocent girls like in this recent shooting), but doesn't think that maybe God's control also extends to those she despises so much.

The GPL is very very rigid. Either the source is released with the binary or you do not ever release the binary. There's no grace period at all. You do it or you don't release it. It's that simple and these people cannot handle it. I'm aware of this. Like I said, I didn't read the thread, so I had ...
