Bug report: If I create a DJ .CDI and check 'Hide IP.BIN' it compiles a not working DJ image. If I create an ISO with the same option checked and burn with CDRecord it works perfecly for me ( along with the IP.BIN hidden :) ). The problem is that bin2boot doesn't find an IP.BIN in the data section ...

VMI / VMS file descriptions

Never finished it. I'm cleaning out my PC and came accross this: About the VMI / VMS File Format First, lets get an understanding of the two file formats. Lets start with VMI files. VMI files are basically a header file that contains information based on the VMS file such as the description of the V...

I recommend using 1st_read.bin file checker to convert the ELF to a BIN, or simply use the .R -stack switch with sh-obj-elf.exe

i think F355 supports that serial link
No. It's much like the BBA but isn't supported by most games that support the BBA. It also has a little lower connection speed IIRC.

Everything seems to be set up right. Try using the CDRecord GUI (data/data) and see if that helps any.

The image the Dreamcast uses is named "0GDTEX.PVR". This is also used by the Utopia Boot CD. I haven't ever tried it, but DreamSNES also has the file "0GDTEX.PVR" in their plain files and the CD player should show the texture. There's a couple tools that Sin (Sintendo fame) creat...

I bet you could make a mixed CD with the CD music first, and the second session add the PVR image as data. Haven't tested it, but I'd like to bet that would work.

Unfortunately, that not something that a lot of people are willing to spend that much money on. If you need to purchase all the items this is what you're looking at: $30 for the SD adaptor for the Gamecube $50 for a 512 MB SD card $20 (about) for the Action Replay (on eBay) $10 (about) for an SD rea...

I have an eMachines restore cd. The POS is a pain in the ass to use, I've never been able to restore my old emachines back to Windows 98, which I'd really like to do so I can try to set up a DC<>PC server. I'm looking for an XP restore disc (one that uses Norton Ghost to restore the drive), not a W...

eMachine XP restore CD

I'm trying to make a restore CD, and I'm trying to get the exact boot files from a eMachine restore CD with Windows XP (the restore CDs that use Ghost). I just gave my T1115 back to a friend which had the boot disc so I don't have any access to the restore CD anymore. Does anyone have a restore CD f...

I'd like to see this to be an alternative to the ISO - not attached to it. You should group everything together that is needed and put all of it in a simple installer (something like Nullsoft). Have it labeled something like "Code::Blocks DC Dev Environ" and that way, the user can install ...
