Fascinating discussion. Let me add my 2 cents. First of all, I am a college graduate with by BS in Biology and another BS in Molecular Biology and Microbiology. As I live and breathe until the day I die, I am a Christian. I checked out the link, and I've got to say a couple of things #1 that Extreme...

Sega struck a deal with some company in Japan for them to "remake" older Sega games from their oldest of systems all the way to the Dreamcast for play on the Xbox.

I think the reason is simply that the Dreamcast was a bigger threat to PS1 sales than the Xbox. PS1 hardware and software sales are slipping so if an emulator could be made to play PS1 games on the Xbox, then Sony would be able to make more money on PS1 sales and persuade customers to buy a PS2 due ...

Kiss Psycho Circus has the music ( I like the first track from out of the juke box), and Elemental Gimmick Gear has some pretty cool images that would make for some outstanding posters.

One of my favorite pc gaming sites is Blue's News as well as the Planet ____ websites that host other sites. T hings I would like to see, if DC Homebrew developers would want to do it, is have something like the Plan files so that everyone can know what they are working on. A directory of developer'...

I had read something about emulation on the Dreamcast and Quake DC in some magazine, so I decided do a search on Yahoo for Dreamcast, DC, emulation, etc. and the rest is history.

Buying something original is neat, but it all comes down to supply and demand. I have yet to see the original maracas with my own eye in Orlando, FL in the last 18 months. Official controllers are nice when there are no 3rd party controllers that are comparable (like my 2 twin sticks for my Saturn),...

Help!...I need a new ISP...

Yes, I really need one. I graduated from college last year, and they finally kicked me off for good (unless I do some post-bac). I tried to install an aol disc, but I tried to abandon the install and it completely messed up my computer with all of these errors each time I tried to open anything (Aol...

Sounds fascinating. I love puzzle type games. I just need a new ISP (my old University finally kicked me off after graduating a year ago). From what I have read, it looks like we've got a winner. Is this going in for the DC Emulation programming contest?

What was your favorite class?

Although most students probably are too busy worrying about finals, I want to know what was everyone's favorite class in either high school or college and why. I guess I'll start if off. About three years ago, I was a 3rd year junior at UCF. That year, I had to take Organic Chemistry to fulfill the ...

O yes, I forgot one. It is my import game of Dreamstud!o. It is an adventure/rpg game maker. It is pretty cool, but the only complaint I have is that you are restricted to 200 blocks. If Sega only made a "real" mass memory card with more than just 200 blocks, maybe something like 20000, th...

I saw Spriggan about a month ago, and it had a lot of eye candy but the story was a bit convoluted as it tried to "rewrite" the Bible by saying that the Ark that Noah built has the power of creation. Again, lots of eye candy but so little story. On the other hand, I saw the last episode of...

The sleeper game that I have had in my collection but finally got around to playing is Evolution. It is a pretty neat game. Some of those special moves are pretty neat. My favorite is Mag's special which is a 3 hit attack. It reminds me of Ryu's super uppercut from Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike. Al...

It is definitely a great game and one of the deepest. Although, my favorite of the NES classics is Castlevania 2: Simon's Quest. Just for fun (and off of the top of my head) are some codes for both games. To get all of the goodies possible in Castlevania 2 type in: PSPR VRBV U2DT RFIZ To get 10 extr...

QuakeDC selfboot sounds great. I'll have to try it out when I get a new ISP (my university finally kicked me off after having graduated a year ago). Sega's E3 Lineup

Looks like Sega is comming out with all barrels blazing for E3 by brining out newer versions of some of the classics, and I am sure that the press will be eating it up.

Congratulations on straigt A's. It is definitely a good sign as the first year is a great indicator of success in college. Some students have trouble making the transition from high school to college, but looks like you did great. Sleep for a week and enjoy your well deserved rest.
