You should try to contact him via icq, the #qc irc channel or maybe on the inside3d forums.

Re: Dreamplaces

Last night I tested DP using my keyboard. pros: -good framerate (in my map i get 13-21 fps, compared 7-12 in nxMakaqu) cons: -(obviously) no sound -some graphical glitches, like hud disappearing -weird beihaviour of the analogue stick -left/right shoulder buttons seem not to be recognized -no access...

Re: I have a present incoming...

I love the second vid. Especially how those spooky faces flash to the screen. A little too frequent for my taste but still a great idea. Will there be new maps and/or new model for the axe by any chance?

Re: EmuForge Homebrew Compilation Released!

Well I think It's like a pre-pre-preview version of the port(as you can see on the nonsense control binds) so I guess chui wants to clean up the source before releasing it...

Re: The Ascension Of Vigil

Tyne, I remember a screenshot you posted which had grass and rain effects. I wonder how you did it. Did you use sprites and if yes how did you stop them from rotating?

It started in 2005 as an idea for a map based on the movie "Sniper". The map works quite OK in the dc version of ...

Re: Dreamplaces

Well I got DP separated from the rest of the image: http://rapidshare.com/files/98457711/dp.rar.html (7,3 mb) dreamplaces.bin is unscrambled. I used demomenu to boot it up after pressing Y and X (no idea which one switches demomenu to unscrambled loading mode). The archive includes some maps(which a...

Re: Dreamplaces

Well I've just tried it and I must say, it looks really promising speedwise. Though the controls are mapped kinda weird and rotating the view using analogue stick is a way too slow. I'll try to extract the files, which are only needed for dream places from the image and release them, so people can t...

Re: Dreamcast-Scene being vandalized by spambots

This sucks. DCS is one of the best current Dreamcast resources, probably second only to this place. No. 1_ DCEmu & Dreamcast-Scene 3_ DCEmulation (here) Yes but if I think some years ago, before the design change dcemulation.org was the best dreamcast site around. http://dcemulation.org/index.shtml...

Re: Some possibilities

@Manoel: Wow, that's very sad news... does this mean that you are going to quit your quake developments? I hope it doesn't because it would be a big loss for the whole dreamcast community, not only for the quakedev one. nxMaqaku is an excellent software based port of quake whose features can be used...

Re: Finish Codename Corporal?

I'd defenetely love to play a finished Corporal. I'd love to see dc support again like it was in the version you and TDA released back in 2002. It looked so polished and had the feel of real dc game, which unfortunatelly made it less popular for the pc community. Anyways go for it Tyne! :D
