Something I'm gonna do if I ever reburn an nxDoom with Goldeneye: remove the teleporter sound. He uses it to make it seem like you're going under stuff, but he left the sound in. Wonder why the author did that? WOuld of been a simple thing to remove.

Ah, didn't realize that. There is a Duke GL out, dunno how they managed that without the source code.
Oh yeah, and it is Ken Silverman. Didn't you ever play the (not so great) Ken's Labryinth? That was a 3D engine he made in high school. Brilliant stuff considering he did it by himself...

DDF is scripting with notepad. It's pretty easy, but you can do some pretty nifty tricks. I didn't really expect a port of EDGE soon, if ever. I'm well aware it's complex.. The only thing I really want is DDF compatibility (though I have no idea how far into the engine that is - I'd imagine it's not...

The Dreamcast's rampant piracy did not help it, but system sales were very poor after the release of the PS2. I'm never gonna be convinced piracy killed HARDWARE SYSTEM SALES. Virtually free games seems like a damn good reason to buy a system - and it STILL sold very poorly after the PS2 was release...

http://www.doomworld.com/classicdoom/ports/index.php?platform=1 Look under there. DOS DOOM and EDGE below it. It's biggest asset was easily DDF.. Otherwise I prefer ZDoom/Legacy. DDF goes waaaay beyond DEH in ability. For instance, making new weapons/monsters instead of replacing old ones...

Amanda the Witch's Apprentice.. Correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't that just a prettier sfcave? Sfcave is a good game all right, but it's like Tetris, if you understand my meaning. SmashDC is pretty cool, I'd say that's the homebrew I like the best - largely cause I'm a huge fan of Super Smash TV/Ro...

I'd like to mention: Crazy Taxi is unplayable with a wheel, pretty much. It makes it very hard to do the crazy dash and the other moves. To bad, really.

Hey wait a sec.. nxDoom is compatible with DOS DOOM? Does that mean DDF files work? If they do, I think I'm gonna start work on a small patch for Doom featuring a few friends from the Sega world ;)

DDF support. That is Doom Definition Files. A scripting language that went along with EDGE Doom. There was a better Quake Doom for that engine, known as QDoom. It was a nearly perfect translation. Actually, I would like to see a full port of EDGE since it supported over-under floors and had a couple...

To bad the Build engine's source was lost. Same with ROTT's (VERY SAD on that one - that game STILL rocks, I feel it has aged a bit better then Doom or even Quake 1).

Next to none unless you're completely incompetent. I've known many people with mod chips, both solder and non-soldering. The people who had any problems, just did something REALLY stupid with the installation. Most modern mod chips will work flawlessly like forever. The only thing you lose is the wa...

Getting two adapters and video out from my PC.. Or I could just wait for Feet of fury and not spend money...
Oh yeah, do you know a good link for DWI dance steps? When Feet of Fury comes out, I'm gonna want some custom songs for SURE. And making your own steps is a bit tedious. :?

I might get modded for asking.. But I've been curious for a while. I know there's a hacked Bleemcast that will attempt to load any PSX game. Has anyone used it? Any good?

Under the right conditions with a very powerful telescope you CAN see the flag. It doesn't really LOOK a whole lot like a flag, but you can get the idea that that is what it is.

Isn't DWI (Dance With Intensity, right?) a PC game? What good's a dancing game without a pad? I guess you could get a USB adapter, but who wants to dance in front of your 17 or 19 inch monitor in front of your computer desk instead of in front of the TV with your stereo blaring?

With some of the extremely powerful telescopes (as well as the hubbel, I believe) they've gotten pictures of the flag on the moon. It doesn't look BIG in the images, but you can tell what it is. So yes, the flag is there. And yes, man landed on the moon. People who say the moon landing was faked rem...
