It was released to a very limited number of people in Japan only. When you first turned it on it had to call some number in Japan to sort of register it (weird).
The best thing ever made for it, in my opinion at least, was a track creator for F-Zero.

I won't lie... Perhaps I should have mentioned it at the begining buuuut.. I sold copies of something mostly at cost, illegally. It was a music album that has been out of print for decades. All told I took in maybe $200. I got a letter from the copyright holder threatening legal action, so I stopped...

Punishments for piracy question
I looked around for this and could not find a straight answer..
What are the punishments for selling pirated copies? Like, for instance (a very minor seller), $300 of pirated music sales?
What about the big ones, like $10,000?
Thanks to anyone who can provide info on it.

War is definite. And ya know, Afghanistan isn't really well off at all now. They have a very weak government propped up by a foreign power. Sometimes accused of being a puppet. And how many people in that country actually can vote? 5% (country like that, with extremely poor people who walk everywher...

"Well I got zelda Links awakening for christmas when I was four or so " you're making me feel old.. Only I'm not old :( Ocarina of Time is a good one because I didn't even get to a part where Link's age changes. I got bored with it extremely quickly. I still think the original Zelda and a Link to th...

PS2 is considerably weaker then GCN and xbox. It is not WEAK period though - just starting to age. This is not really a big problem, and it bothers me that people base so much on graphics. Sometimes I miss the days of the NES - it had a virtual monopoly for like 7 years. One system that everyone had...

" they're just a good console manufacteurer." Both consoles are good, but the PS2 is ridiculously prone to failure. it's the least reliable mainstream system, easily, in the past 15 years. I just don't understand how they botched it so badly, since the PS1, while not solid as a rock, was pretty good...

"Also you drug addicts are the idiots, always sticking up for your lame "herb" and chemicals that are extremely harmful to the human body. " I don't think I've ever heard someone stick up for the extremely harmful drugs - things at the level of cocaine or harder. I have heard people defend Ecstasy, ...

"He got what he deserves. I feel NO sympathy what so ever for drug addicts. So good ridance." How many drug addicts have you personally known? Have you known any before and after their addiction? I've known a couple dozen. Some deserved sympathy, many did not. One person I knew grew up in a neighbor...

Half-Life's framerate.
Now that a few of us have *cough* seen Half-Life DC running with an irregular frame rate... I've heard it was complete. Why did/does it chug so much? The DC is not THAT weak - I find it hard to believe Q3A (even 4 player split screen) runs as well as it does but Half-Life is really taxing it. I tend...

Reserve judgement til the game comes out, and remember gameplay is more important then graphics. It looks to me like they're trying to get the lighting effects in and sacrificing everything else for it. While it's true the PS2 is much weaker then the other two, it still has the best library. I'd thi...

"(and supposedly better graphics wise). " I can verifiy this. Grandia II for PS2 has frame rate problems and worse textures. The frame rate choppiness is the worst though. Grandia II was obviously designed with the DC's higher vram in mind, and they did a poor job of changing the rendering technique...
