Well I tried it, I wasn't that impressed due to some battles taking way too long to finish and the screen to start scrolling again. Some of the music was good and some was downright awful however, it's neat he made 3 of them but I can't see myself finishing any of them.

I played Turrican 2 on UAE4ALL, it played quite good on a Frameskip of 2 if I remember correctly with sound and music both on.

Can you possibly add over 255 frames per .mdl? According to Havoc it's really easy, it only sends new network messages when the animation of a model goes over 255, and takes about 10 minutes of work. TAOV is bloated. 2DCam would be a better base You're pretty much right. I've added so much code specifically for TAoV that you'd take more time figuring what to strip out and have it compile than it'd take to just write your own code into 2DCam and use that.
