Re: [WIP] Tail-Tale

A quick test on nullDC (tomorrow I'll test on real hard): * WAV sounds are bad and they are not playing correctly (like the rolling in Falling Time). They need to be redone (all sounds are 11025Hz and 8 bits sample?) * Emu crashes after 1-2 minutes of playing (I'll verify on real hard but, not a go...

Tail-Tale (Sega Dreamcast)

http://img110.xooimage.com/files/4/2/9/tailtale_scr1-4c50092.png Tail-Tale is a puzzle-game made by umi2kick, rerofumi and pyonkey-matsuo. It plays similar to Tetris Attack. To hold a block, press A. While holding a block, you can move it. When you're happy, release it. Align 4 or more blocks of th...

Re: [WIP] OpenTitus

Yeah, it's quite usual when you try to use double buffering but the game does not support it!! hehehe. For this engine, SWSURFACE looks better than HW one (in the password screen is where it takes the difference), and both run at same speed because the engine limits itself. Btw, I saw you already f...

Re: [WIP] OpenTitus

I found another issue in DC version: the password screen is very "flashy" and can't be read. I love that I can enter password with my PAD (and there's no need for keyboard), but there's something wrong because it is rendering the password screen and title screen at the same time :( Yes, it happende...

Re: [WIP] OpenTitus

Hello indiket, thanks for the bug report ! There was two version of the opl interpreter and i was using the heavier one... I have uploaded a new version that fixes this (at least the music seems to play faster on lxdream). Additional note: I noticed you're using 0.8.0, but latest one is 0.8.1, right...

OpenTitus (Sega Dreamcast)

http://img110.xooimage.com/files/7/f/2/titus-4c2f5d2.png Here's OpenTitus for Sega Dreamcast. Opentitus requires the 'Titus the fox' data files in order to play. You must put the following files in dc/titus (or in dc/moktar if you have moktar) : SPREXP.SQZ TITRE.SQZ MENU.SQZ TITREEGA.SQZ MENUEGA.SQ...

Re: Will there be more NGDT games on Dreamcast?

Speaking of which: it's a shame there's no feasible way to export Dreamcast binaries from things like The Games Factory and RPG Maker. I've been playing this game Freedom Planet lately (it's part of the current Humble Bundle), and aside from a few common flaws (inane story, overly long cutscenes, t...

Re: [WIP] Falling Time

Thanks again for your feedback. * Seems that second player still moves at right, I'll check it again with real hard, but well, at least can be fixed with a second controller hehehe. How do you read the controller, using SDL functions or directly by Maple? I have fixed this issue and reuploaded the g...

Thanks for your feedback, Indiket ! Re: [WIP] Falling Time

Thank you guys ! I'll try to get a working version of Genesis Plus GX after i'm done with Falling Time, it'll be based on the SDL version though... It's predecessor, Genesis Plus, was also ported to the Sega Dreamcast and fully optimised for it so i'm not sure if i should port Genesis Plus GX or not...

Falling Time (Dreamcast port)

https://gameblabla.olympe.in/img/ft_scr2.png I have ported this little game for the Sega Dreamcast called "Falling Time". It was made by Cong Xu and Nebuleon and it was originally only available for GCW Zero. It's basically a Falldown clone on crack, and you can also grab eggplants to increase your...
