Re: mp3_volume

The music seems to work on the hardware well, but on lxDream it doesn't play and eventually goes into an infinite loop. Has anyone else experienced this with ogg?

Re: mp3_volume

Sheesh, I didn't know all that. I'll definitely go with another library. Thanks.

mp3_volume

void mp3_volume(int vol);

What is the range of vol? What is the default volume? Thanks.

Re: Loading an Image with PVR

You're very knowledgeable about this stuff!

Anyways, I was following your advice, changing all my dimensions to 512 x 512, and then I found the bug. I set the cursor's width to 640! Thanks for your help!

Loading an Image with PVR

I've been using pvr to load my images. This aspect of the game has been working fine up until the time I started using big images (1024 X 512). Firstly, I'd like to know if my drawImage function is correct. In the function, the images had to be the same width and height previously, but I changed tha...

Re: Syntax Errors?

Well, I got it to work.

I took out #include "Player.h", #include "Enemy.h", and #include "Laser.h" from the header files. It didn't work right away because I also took out #include "Sprite.h", but I did some fiddling and eventually put it back in, and it worked. Thanks :)

Re: Making an ISO on Linux

Ah, I see.

I saw some homebrew CDI files around the net, and thought there might be some way to make an image like I described before. I guess not. :)

Re: Making an ISO on Linux

I want to make it easier for the end user to burn the game. I'd like to have an image that can be burned with any run of the mill burning software. On top of that, I'd like to make it easier for me to make multiple copies.

Making an ISO on Linux

I won't need to do this right away, but I'd like to know how to make an ISO for a DC game on the Dreamcast. I already know how to burn a DC compatible CD-R, but I don't know how to make an ISO. How do I do this (preferably with cdrecord)?

Re: I miss the STL on Dreamcast, so I'm compensating

Do I have to link against any libraries for the STL to work?

Edit: I just added -lstdc++ to my make file and it works!

Re: I miss the STL on Dreamcast, so I'm compensating

Basically, if you're using a subversion checkout of KOS from any time in the past 5 years (and GCC 3.4.x, where x >= 3?), you should have full STL support (minus the exception of exceptions, unless you configured your toolchain properly, or are using a newer GCC 4.4.x based toolchain). Well, if tha...

[SOLVED] I miss the STL on Dreamcast, so I'm compensating

Since KOS doesn't support the STL, I've decided to make a few of my favorite containers. I'm not very experienced with template metaprogramming, so I was wondering if someone would look through my vector class to see if it will work as expected. Please review the code for possible memory leaks as we...

Eclipse, Linux, and Dreamcast Dev

I was wondering if anyone has ever setup Eclipse to work with Dreamcast development. Were you able to build .elf files from within the IDE? Any tips?

Thanks.
