Turn PAL DC into NTSC DC...

I have a revision 0 PAL Dreamcast, and I would like to know how to make it into an NTSC unit. Last time I checked, there was a mod that a single wire on the underside of the Dreamcast could alter the region. This Rev0 motherboard posseses such a wire. I do not know if it is REALLY a PAL motherboard,...

Possible candidates for a FSB generating PLL would be:

AMP-NUS
917 L26
------------------
LG125
717
------------------

Or, most likely:

MX8350MC
43B
TA464B01

I say most likely, because it is next to 2 crystals. One is D147E9, the other is D143E9.

I really dont see how its so hard to successfully port. The game was designed to run on a P-90 with only 4MB of RAM. The DC has a SH4-200 and 16MB of RAM. Erm... No. The minimum requirements for Quake 3 are a P-90, and 16MB of RAM. It was actually designed to run on systems far more powerful than t...

Yes sir, it should. Specifications list it as standard PC600 RDRAM, which assumes a default system bus of 100Mhz. THAT is why I want to up the FSB, I want to see the RAM fly (and maybe the GPU :p)

Overclocking N64 via FSB...

I already know of the tutorial to overclock the N64 via multiplier changing. That is with the 2 wires etc. What I wanted to know, is whether the N64 possesses a PLL simlar to what the Dreamcast has. I would like to know, because I would like to see If I can do an N64 with 100Mhz FSB (standard is 66....

Does it have to be in both fields? Or just DNS1? I also have Gateway etc. The problem is is that when I have the IP in the DNS1 field, I get some wierd disconnection message.

Crap. I used the Propeller Arena utility to do it, and it doesnt work. I put it in the DNS1 box, and when I am connecting to PSO, it says there was a network error, and the connection was dropped.

Connecting to SCHTACK with BBA...

I need help connecting to the private schtack servers for PSO v2. I'd rather not use the codebreaker code, and the IP address is this: 207.134.225.141 I know there is a way to go into the BBA utility and put the IP address in one of the fields, and then i will work without using a codebreaker. Anyon...

Epic is up there as regards to that as well. You know you have good customer service when the Vice President is reponding to your email. True story. i might have an idea, not sure though sounds like you people substitute the 33 mhz source with a 40 mhz source for the entire system, couldnt you just lift the clock leg of the SH4 and connect the 40 mhz crystal to that, leaving the rest of the system at 33? Problem with that is that the SH-4 is an...

You have a profound point doragasu. But heres the catch, not many games/apps as it is support the official BBA. A cheaply built DC serial-BBA could the the thing needed for future DC homebrew coders. Heck if a *standard* format could be achieved, a universal homebrew BBA could be made with support f...
