Such eloquent garb. [quote]Life requires reason, selfishness, capitalism; that is what Christmas should celebrate -- and really, underneath all the pretense, that is what it does celebrate. It is time to take the Christ out of Christmas, and turn the holiday into a guiltlessly egoistic, pro-reason, ...

Yes. Those are arcade games built through MAME. You will still need to have the roms to pack with those sbi's.

All of those files are SBI files that are utilized by Self Boot Inducer. You can combine any of them on disc using that program.

It is better to have the Genesis files in bin format for use with Genesis Plus. There are a few smd converter programs out there...just google for smd to bin converter.

College break

So what is everyone playing? Anybody have Baldr Gate Exe or Chaos Filed(if it is released)? I noticed a lot of homebrew releases, are there any really good ones? So how are the new emus(NES, Genesis, Turbo 16) coming along? Has anyone heard from Ian recently? I am currently enjoying Unreal 2 and Pai...

SBI inducer is a program that takes several bootable files and can combine them on one disc.... example: You can have an NES emu with roms, Genesis emu with roms and a bunch of homebrew games all on one. SBI'S are kind of like jerry-rigged BIN files formatted to be combined with other SBI's so as to...

Actually I should clarify myself a little and be more specific. The menu system is definitely in favor Famicast. Many more options for sound, frame skip and other options. The games come up directly as compared to the loading of names by Dreamsnes. The shift from game to menu is smoother and better ...

Funny this topic came up just now as I was testing both out against each other. Famicast is coming along good, but to be honest Dreamsnes is smoother with better sound and speed ratio. Keep in mind that Dreamsnes has been around a long time in comparison to Famicast. Overall both are playable in mos...

Did you tried ROMLST12 by the kRypT (or Provlst by burnerO) to create a ROMS.LST that'll stop waring of your DCCDMotor?

For some odd reason ROMLST12 only recognizes 26 out of my 62 roms.

Guess I need to whip out GoodWindows and rename.

I am not discrediting all the work done on Dsnes, not by a long shot. I do not think that DSnes .98 is the best Snes emu that is attainable however. As far as the speed issue, Dsnes never really improved past .94...heck maybe even .91. They did a great job with the sound, compatibility, and menus......

Actually speud...I think Genesis Plus PRV 3 is already past Dreamsnes .98. I have found it very compatible with acceptable sound and nice graphics.....sure there are glitches (some even bad) and there are sound problems with skipping...but at least it runs full speed. Many of the games I love and ha...

Lynx Mess control config

Is the control config not fully emulated? I play Ninja Gaiden but have not yet found a way to use the option buttons. Can someone tell me what the button mapping is for this nice emu?

Yes I have. They are both given mention...the only name I need is that of the author of the GBA emu now......I'll look through the other topics to find it. I'm not saying it is impossible for Saturn emulation, obviously seeing that Bleem! made PSX emulation so easy, perhaps Saturn emulation is not t...

Na haven't dismissed you BlueCrab...just looking at Saturn emulation in general. It would be one heck of an accomplishment if you succeed. In fact it would be the ultimate accomplishment seeing as we barely have a Saturn emu for PC. I wish you the best of luck in this endeavor. :D

So is this right?

I run a hub(not going to say on what prog), but I need to make sure these facts are straight before I make public announcements. Genesis Plus- Black Aura, working on sound and graphics issues and memory, will see an official release Neo Geo CD-Ian Michael, working on sound and other code involving s...

Ian, Black Aura, Scherzo and all associated with DC emu's

I wish to take this time to give you public thanks for your hard work. I have been a part of the Dreamcast gaming experience since 9-9-99 and have been a gamer since 1983 or so (heh my first game machine was a vic-20). I have only just now decided to start posting here as it is great to see so much ...

GenesisPlus PVR 3

I can highly recommend this already. Games that were not emulated before are done so now. Streets of Rage 3, Contra Hardcorps, and Mortal Kombat are now playable and almost full speed. Not all games work yet, and many have graphical glitches and sound glitches but this emulator is still better than ...

Have tried many games......a lot of glitches and sound issues, but man this thing is still pure ownij with the games that work right. In the short time this has been worked on it has come a long ways. Speed is tremendous for many of the higher games like Thunder Force 4. I predict this will be the b...
