Re: Help with Master System / Game Gear title shots

Seems those two links are wormfood now. Anyone still hosting snapshot packs these days?

Anyone still have the old XM music packs from doomdc.tk?

As some of you may know, the site and its content was randomly deleted a while back and replaced with a page about something totally different. As of now it seems files.frashii.com is itself down for the count. Wayback Archive could help me retrieve the Amiga XM pack but not the others. Anybody stil...

Re: Upcoming commercial Dreamcast games (2008/2009)

I have a few random questions of intrigue to ask about post-discontinuation releases in general, hope you don't mind.... 1) Did releases fluctuate often between GD-ROM and CD-ROM? 2) What was the last GD-ROM title to date? I'm having trouble finding the info on Google. 3) Are CD titles built in a un...

So why did some commercial DC games not support VGA?

Perhaps someone could care to educate me on this one, or if there were any "politics" behind it. I would've thought VGA would be the best display option for all Dreamcast titles, yet there were a few games I seem to recall that would pop up a message at startup stating that the game does not support...

Re: Problems with Another World on Dreamcast

Well I recently got round to posting about the problem in GPF's forum section at DCEmu.co.uk, but as I've not heard back from him, I am unsure as to whether he is aware of the bug. I noticed he replied in another thread in the same section that also got posted in recently for the first time since 20...

Re: Help with Master System / Game Gear title shots

Yeah, I prefer to grab an up-to-date GoodSMS/GG set, then run the lot through SMS Checker to get more simple (and accurate!) filenames. :)

When SMSPower bring out new roms, they tend to be named in a SMSChecker-compatible manner by default.

Re: Help with Master System / Game Gear title shots

Cheers for that Juan! Although I must remind Rat King that the packs are quite outdated - there've been many new roms released through SMSPower, not to mention one or two GoodSMS/GG revisions - since then, so there's a chance you may still have to create some extra screenshots to suit a complete rom...

MarfitudeDC - any alternate link?

It seems GPF's downloads are currently corrupt atm (CRC errors in WinRAR etc), and his site appears to be the only place to grab that game. The Web Archive couldn't help me out either.

Anyone still happen to have a copy of this file? Cheers.

Re: Anyone still working on SBInducer themes?

I take it you mean the themes made for the various compilation CDs? Still, it's a shame nobody cares about DreamInducer anymore. I mean, very few of the themes over at DCHelp.net are visually appealing to me. I guess I'm a fussy type of person. I would've checked Boob's Covers site too, except its ...

Anyone still working on SBInducer themes?

Just wondering if there were any more sites hosting themes other than DCHelp.net and Boob! Covers, really. Or is this part of the scene now dead? =[

What filetypes does ZX4ALL actually support?

The readme doesn't make it clear on what files the emulator accepts and what ones it doesn't. :? I just want to make sure I only burn onto a CD formats that will actually be used by it, y'see. Z80 is likely one compatible format, but what about the others? EDIT: Ah, wait, appears Chui updated the ZX...

Is there a guide to using the "DC Coverdisc Menu"?

I can't think of a better name for it, but I'm referring to the snazzy-looking frontend that graced the coverdiscs of Official Dreamcast Magazine, and which was later used for DCEvolution's two BOR compilations. The latter proved to me that it could be customised somehow but looking at the files and...

Is that definitely the latest version, just to clarify? I believe Boob! stopped dead in about 2001, and I don't know if there were any further releases after that.

I swear it's become more difficult to find through Googling, particularly since ConsoleVision went down.

Where to get QuakeDC DCEvo pack still?

Turns out DCEvo had to start their site again from scratch lately, so all their downloads have disappeared as a result.

With this and HexQuake now gone, does that mean there is no real way of getting QuakeDC nowadays?

Re: So how well can UAE4ALL emulate the Amiga on DC?

I feel I should clarify things after reading this thread again.......

PSPUAE is based on WinUAE, so I was wrong in a way to call it the equivalent of UAE4ALL.

UAE4ALL PSP is the other UAE program for PSP that came out recently.
