It's probably like those weird sex laws... strange local laws and ordinances that just haven't been cleaned out of the books yet. Nobody is stupid enough to enforce them because it'd just be challenged in court and a lengthy legal battle would ensue and it would cost lots of money and everyone knows...

iPod Shuffle!

It is so cool, I preordered one for me and another for a friend! I can't wait, the price is just great and the style and the color and everything! It's so sleak and small, and the random music playback thing is so cool and innovative. Apple continues to impress me with all the hard work they put int...

I was talking more on terms of societal rights. "Rights of birth" I believe are equal for everyone. In terms of society, it is a fact that handicapped people, now-a-days (in the US) are bent over backwards for. You cannot build an office building without it being handicapped accesible. Even if said...

There are no such restrictions for selling computers without Windows. You buy as many licenses as you want, the only thing the system builder license says you have to do is not tamper with Microsoft's code and ruin the Windows "experience" and to support it. Microsoft sucks in many ways so you don't...

MSN Desktop Search

I saw MSN Desktop Search on another computer and I was surprised by how well it works! It's actually fast and reliable... who knew MSN was capable of such? Anyway it seems it doesn't work on Windows Server 2003. :( Know of any similar apps that I can try? I really love how the search results pop up ...

For retail copies Microsoft gives installation support and two free support requests (and the number isn't even toll-free!). After that it's $35 per incident. System builders are obligated to offer some sort of support for any copies of Windows they sell with systems they build. That varies from pla...

I refuse to believe anybody could have been so retarded as to not realize that's the reason she wanted to sleep with him. He would have had to have known... and if he didn't think putting up with his crusty body was worth a couple million he was just a cruel dick who should have been shot. :P It's j...

Most people get their upgraded versions of Windows with a new computer, and OEM XP Home licenses for system builders are around 35 bucks a pop. I still don't know of any good reason retail versions should be so insanely expensive though.

Uh, looks fake. The perspective is just a hair off in spots, and look at the drive slot! Since when does anything come wrapped in a layer of foam in a box that big? There should be some sort of carton or styrafoam blocks in there too...
