Re: So this site still exists?

I miss the old days of this site. I loved the Dreamcast and this place. I had a Dreamcast and at first I had no idea that emulation on a console was even possible. I had emus on the PC though. So one day I stumble on DCEmulation and thought it was a DC emu for PC. Then I looked at the site and didn'...

Re: Shenmue: The Movie

Thats 1080p widescreen in Nulldc, so it looks exactly like it only difference would be when you're actually running NullDC it is a little clearer just because it's the actual source and not a video. I think it still looks pretty damn good for a console from 1998-99

Try it in NullDC in widescreen mode at 1080p it is crazy to think it came out in 2000. It looks great.

Re: Dreamcast : Replace GD-ROM with CD-ROM

Well, the same thing basically happened to me recently. My GD-Rom simply stopped reading discs altogether. I dont have time to tinker with it so I went down to Game Force in Boulder and got another DC. But I also must have blown the serial port on my old DC when I attempted to build my own SD adapt...

I wouldn't mind having a chipped PS2 to play some of the classics I missed, but for night now my modded original Xbox is doing just fine :)

Re: The TV makes all the difference, part 2

I still have 2 CRTs. One is out in my garage hangout area and it is a Mitsubishi 3715C Display Monitor from 1990, it was like $10,000 when it was new. I got it for $50  It isn't a consumer TV like you couldn't have went to the store and bought it. It is a high end monitor for video editing and ...

Re: Shenmue: The Movie

I've tried so many times to play Shenmue, and I could just never get into it. I was always really impressed with it both technically and artistically, but I just couldn't stick with it far enough to find the "fun" in it. Me neither. The introduction takes about half an hour, is completely unskippab...

Re: Classic PS2 games?

Kingdom Hearts. I've never personally played these games, only seen them played, read the reviews, and longed after them. Grandia III - especially if you played the other games I actually owned Kingdom Hearts back when it came out, but I couldn't really get into it at the time. I'd like to give it ...
