yes, I understand your reluctance to buy a pre-built PC, as all manufacturers use crappy PSU's and Mobos and they charge like $600 more than the parts cost them. I would reccomend you build a system like I just built for my mom: Lian-Li PC-60 USB B( 1 Fan on the Top), 12-Bay, Aluminum Case. Color: S...

If they think that they can be a bunch of cowardly pencil-necked motherfuckers and take us to court, they are fucked-up in the head. If you cant use words to solve a problem, use force. This is OUR internet, they are not welcome here. I say as soon as they start sueing people, we retaliate. Heck, we...

Too bad, I havent been at this forum for a long time, but now I come back and the first topic I read has flames and racism.... Earthbound was one of the greatest games of all time, but ever...

the problem with the PC one is that you need microsoft software to run it.

i mean, it would be silly to run it under winex with nothing less than a supercomputer.

Three options for playing PSX games:

1) Buy a PSX
2) Buy a PS2
3) Get an old mac and Virtual Game Station

Those are the only three!

About the GC/PS2/Xbox

How does Nintendo/Sony/$ENV{ROOT_OF_ALL_EVIL} prevent piracy on their DVD discs? Funny mulit-session discs? Weird format? None? I'd bet that they have the foresight to see that in a year from their systems release that the average consumer could just go out and buy an eMac with superdrive for under ...

if you want a stable introductory linux distro, dont use Mandrake, use REDHAT!!!

redhat does everything!

it comes with all the libraries

it is easy to use (8.0....i dunno about the 7.x tho....)

it is stable as !@#%@$!!!

it is perfect,( if you do not own a linmodem. )
