Yep, I play my Dreamcast on my Sony KDL-32V2000 through VGA. No lag at all, and incredibly good quality. By default, the TV correctly borders the sides of the 4:3 picture to avoid stretching it. In fact, when I had an HDTV without a VGA input, I used to use a VGA to Component (480p) transcoder to pl...

I just tried out what I believe is the latest version of Genesis+. I'm incredibly impressed! Rather than talk about what an acheivement this is (I think this is obvious enough) I'm going to talk about issues that you may or may not be aware of. Apologies if they've been covered before. Since I use a...

Alright, here's the file - 9mb RAR will unzip a bunch of PSDs. Edit: nice direct link thanks to DCSteve: http://borrevolution.vg-network.com/gui.rar I've PM'd you the archive password. (BTW, since I used a picture of Sonic in the main menu, you should maybe add a copyright statement about the charac...

BlackAura - can you tell me how I'd go about getting my theme into the emulator (if you're still up for that idea, that is). I'd love to see it running. I'd guess you'd be better up to that task? How would you like me to send the images - sliced into bits or shall I send the original Photoshop image...

I haven't tried this new build yet but it sounds great. Since I use an HDTV I'm connected using the VGA box - does it work using that? Also, how would I go about getting my theme into it (if you guys are interested, that is)! BTW, Dreamcast4life: must be nice to enjoy genesis on the DC right now but...

Serenity HD-DVD Custom Cover
I think this is the first custom cover of the high definition formats, right? http://www.lyris-lite.net/fu_archives/serenityhd_uni.jpg Well, this movie needs one badly. The American cover art for Serenity is a widely-agreed joke that makes it look like a cheap space porno. Here's a JPEG preview of m...

Restored video sequence for Paramount
Hey everyone! You get to see my big break! I had the crazy idea of restoring a censored sequence from a Ren & Stimpy cartoon (one of the Spumco ones, not the 13-year-old boys' gross fest that Nickelodeon made themselves). The only surviving copy of the sequence was on VHS and on the first DVD re...

DC Lens Tweak
Got a DC with a problematic drive here. Can anyone link me (or tell me) how I'd go about tweaking the laser? All the tutorials from "back in the day" seem to be offline.
Thanks!
Thanks!
