As far as I know there are some qcc compilers that have a protection against decompiling...
But you can still edit some text/filenames using a hex editor

with Status screen I mean some information
status screen like:

Filename:xxx.bin
Scrambled:yes/no
Size: xxx kb

This info should be shown in the same window, so the message box isnt needed...

Hope you know what i am talking about.... :wink:

It's really useful for since i have some plain files without readmes.
With your tool I can check if they are un/scrambled.

But could you create a status screen instead of the messagebox, while telling if a bin is scrambled or not?

It was already on dcemu main site! Its quite cool, a multiplayer stand alone mod very professional-looking one. It doesn't need q1 full version. I'm still having much fun playing it....

1. No I didnt. 2. The Sintendo's dlls are the same. by the way sintendo only needs 2 dlls that are in the wince folder ;) But I think that the 1st_read.bin is the same my was ~1.2 mb 3. I dont know I got my long time ago from dcemu I guess it's the newest one. 4. Once I meant to see 'heapsize 9.2' b...

Hi! Since there are not many QuakeDC specific tutorials I've decided to write one, which explains step by step how it is possible to create own games/mods for Dreamcast using QuakeDC. I guess to write this complete tutorial can take up months and I would also be glad if someone helps or corrects me....
