-5 is valid hex. :P

If I may... The Xbox Live starter kits (old ones, at least) have an expiration date on them somewhere, but I think that date was July this year (based on a vague memory from a post on the xbox.com forums shortly after the beta was over). This was to prevent hoarding of the kits and using them for co...

Mandrake is quite a nice n00b distro - everything comes set up all nifty, tho you'll still have issues with deciding what software to install. I moved from Mandrake to Gentoo after trying Slackware, which was just too much required configuration for me. However, you have to have a relatively good id...

Ok, this really bugs me. "An Idea Started, and still going with pride" proclaims proudly that a) The idea was started (?!) b) The idea is still going and we're proud of it A gramatically better implementation would be "An idea started, and still going, with pride", but it's still pretty silly. :P I...

Anyone else find Game Informer to be a little more on the "we advertise things" side, especially in previews? I muchly prefer my trusty EGM, but I got a Game Informer subscription for a dollar net when I bought some stuff at GameStop...so yeah.

Live isn't p2p, it's client/server (well, largely, MotoGP really was p2p). You pay for Microsoft to run their authentication and matching servers which also track stats, not to mention "free" (included) downloadable content. The only Xbox games I played via Live! (RTCW, UC, MotoGP) were all P2P - w...
