Re: Volgarr the Viking for Dreamcast
Hi DMF, Outside of quoting the PM, I don't know how else to verify that Crazy Viking doesn't mind the re-distribution of the software. They don't exactly endorse it, because it's not an official release. Yeah I would want the word to spread so the effort my buddy put into it wasn't wasted, but in or...

Re: Volgarr the Viking for Dreamcast
Hey Indiket! I'll copy and paste what I said over at Dreamcast-Talk: So far, so good. Was able to burn the CDI file without issue. Disc boots to the intro screen for Crazy Viking Studios, then to the main title screen. You can hit Start for options, or simply walk right to start the game. I've only ...

Volgarr the Viking for Dreamcast
Hello All. I'll get straight to the point - I was talking to one of the team members who developed Volgarr, and he had mentioned that the were playing around with porting the game to various platforms, including the Dreamcast. I MAY have begged and pleaded for that to happen, and after a... while, h...

So I take it this idea is dead, since the website that is posted near the top is down, and the last post in this thread is from almost 2 years ago. Any reason to still have this stickied? I was excited to put my name in the hat as a musician, but it seems this is an idea that has long since passed.....

I'll second Virtua Tennis. Tennis 2K2 is THE best tennis game I've played. Once the newest version is available on the new generation of consoles, I'll have very little reason to keep my dreamcast around... :( Anyway, other games that keep me coming back: Ikaruga - only reason why I still play this ...

I'm playing through Under Defeat right now. It will knock your socks off the first time you use your bomb. Best bomb in a shooter that I've seen. Seriously. Better than the Radiant Sword in Radiant Silvergun, better than the Super Ray in Dodonpachi, Better than all the pretty lights in Gigawing 2. T...

Its tough for me because there's SO many games on the DC that I haven't beaten. I don't mind that when they're arcadish type games like Mark of the Wolves, or Crazy Taxi or what not. But then there's games like Resident Evil 3, Dino Crisis, Grandia 2, and Shenmue 2 that I've only played for a half-h...

Well, the AES version cost is outrageous. It was the version that I wanted to buy. I don't have a NeoCD, so I'd go after the DC version. It looks like its from the same folks who made Pulstar, which is pretty cool. However, that means that it would be running in a lower fixed resolution, than a nati...

I'm assuming that Chankast is the Dreamcast emulator. I am using a laptop - I don't think it would have the speed to run a Dreamcast game. Plus I have original games. I have no idea where to find images of DC software (outside of DCEmu...) I only have an output port for video on my laptop, Xylene. H...

Dreamcast Screengrabs - hardware?
Sup, ya geeks.
Question: I want to take screenshots of gameplay of some different shooters on Dreamcast. What kind of hardware would I need to be able to take clean grabs of screenshots? I am using a modded Dreamcast with VGA adapter.
Thanks!

Yikes, just 5... MDK 2 - I've only played through the first level. Psyvariar 2 - Visually this game looks a lot like Ikaruga. I'm surprised this game hasn't been talked about more - its gorgeous. Only thing that's not so hot about the game: It's one player (dammit, shooters should be 2 player!!!). ...
