Well I haven't tried to brun off the DCDivx but if you are having touble with the actually burning process maybe you should turn down the speed at which you burn at. I had a similar problem when trying to burn the DreamSNES, I kept getting buffer underrun errors, then I turned the speed from 8, to 2...

You'd have to import a Gamecube that can use DVD's, Panisonic has one.

I am about to burn off the MAMED CD-R and want to know if the fact that I renamed the files ( and got rid of the txt files in the ROM zip folders talking about were it came from) will they still work when I burn them off?
