Dr_Wily mentioned using DSSBSFinal for making selfbooting divxDC movies. I have windows XP and I have choice zip file like he said, but just what do I do with the choice file. I opened it and DOS comes up and says " yes/no: " ok either way you go it closes so what do I do here. I made an i...

Python Programming Language
Someone mentioned Python as a language for beginners. I looked at python and from what I saw, it looks a lot like QBASIC. I get kinda confused trying to learn C++, but I know QBASIC very well. Before I dive into python, is it worth spending my time on? I want to get out of dos, I am trying VisualBAS...

Scan lines
Yes, NTSC is 500 lines max. However whats wierd is that not all tvs go that high. My college professor says that even though the tv signal is 500 lines most tvs cant display more than 320. Thats kinda ironic. You might notice that some expensive tvs claim over 500, I have seen an RCA that claimed 70...

maybe something a little smaller
I am assuming that you are trying to make a homebrew system to run games that most of us are capable of writing. I think we should take a step back. If you wanted something that was as powerful as a DC, using PC parts would be easier than using all custom parts and writing your own bios and OS, howe...

Maybe possible
I have used multi monitors ever sence it came out on windows. Yes you can use AGP cards with PCI cards. But, not only do the cards have to work with multiple monitor support, they also have to be able to work together. I used 1 AGP ATI Rage card and two ATI PCI Rage cards. If you really wany it to w...

Cool 50 gig disc
That Blu-Ray Disc sounds pretty cool.
"Our only question is this; how the heck do you fill a 30GB CD?"
I could fill a 50 gig disc as fast as the disc can transfer it.
The 30Gig disc wouldn't even satisfy my mp3 collection. LOL

Why the hell not?
Why would you need to stick with the x86 PC crap. Thats why consoles running at 200Mhz can run software that computers running at 400MHz couldn't run. Because they are not bound by the laws of PC backwards compatibilty/microshaft OS. We could customize everything. And we could make it easy to make e...

I have worked in fast food (Taco Bell). Then I moved from Minneapolis to the middle of no where Missouri after college. Now I work at a Staples as the computer tech. Ok, that doesn't sound to bad, but keep in mind that I am in the middle of no where. I live at a large lake that's population shoots t...

This might be easier
Ok, this might be much easier. Use the part of the DC power supply. Your DC power supply must first change AC to DC then in splits the voltages up. So here is what you do. It probably uses a bridge rectifier of some sort then filters it, then regulates it to probable 12v if your lucky. So what you d...

Easy as a variable voltage regulator.
Bare with me its been almost a year since college. Yes you can get any voltage you want. I would use a 12V batterey, and use variable voltage regulators. Only thing you have to worry about is the the current. Just use parts with high current ratings. Here is an text diagram. kinda c_---- c=collector...

Yes it's possible
I am sitting 3 feet away from a TV I just bought. It has Composite, Component, and S-video. I simple walked into Circut City, asked for a cheap 27" TV with RGB input and they had three to choose from. It was pretty cheap at $299. I do have a degree in electronics, however I didn't really pay at...

nevermind
A: We have found that some DJ images do not work with some versions of the DJ. For example the current DJ image for Alpha 2 does not work with DJ 3.5 and errors out sometimes. So the only thing that we can suggest is that you wait for a compatible image to be released or try another software image.

I drag file on to disc juggler and it crashes, a window pops up: CDJ caused an invalid page fault in module CDJ.EXE at 0177:0046bf8d. ... what am I ...
