Speaking purely hypothetically
Let us say - strictly for the sake of argument - that there were a Genesis emulator of questionable legality. Let's further suppose that, if such an emulator existed, it would be mentioned in the rules for this forum - by name - as an emulator that is not to be discussed. If one were interested in o...

Trilinear is amazing
Seriously, how the hell does Trilinear do all this, in such a short period of time? This guy is truly amazing. If you're reading this, sir, my hat goes off to you.

Bubble bobble, bust-a-move, Battlezone
If you could get bubble bobble, bust-a-move, or especially Battlezone running, that would be extremely cool. Hell, even if you can't, it's cool we've got people working on the DC that can even CONSIDER doing this sort of thing. *Bows down in awe of HyperG's skills*

Dreamcast Arcade Cabinet
As with, I'm sure, many of the much more talented members of the Dreamcast community, I use my Dreamcast primarily as an emulation box - MAME, DCSI, etc. So what I would like to do is actually rig up some sort of arcade cabinet I could put my dreamcast in, to make the retro-gaming thing that much mo...

You can also get the PC version
---link removed--- has House of the Dead, just run a search for it. The download isn't even that bad on a 56k modem - something aroung 20 megs, if memory serves.

I need original PAK backups, my CD died
Could someone please help me? I really want to play quake on my dreamcast, but my Quake I CD is scratched beyond usability. I tried to buy a new copy at EB and whatever software etc. is calling itself this week, but neither of them carry it anymore. Could someone either point me to a place I can buy...

an if/else comment
IF blur = TRUE THEN "Excellent, thanks for working on this, gentlemen, A psx emu would be a very cool thing indeed. Don't worry about when people start asking when the beta will be out, release it when it's ready. That said, if you posted a few screenshots and cleaned up your site a little, peo...

Actually, I think doomdc is pretty damn cool
Call me crazy, but I really get a kick out of playing Doom on a big screen, washed-out textures or no. And it's really perfect for play with a gamepad - no mouselook, no real aiming, just look in the general direction and spray bullets. It's not TacOps, but it's a fine party game, and the DC port is...

What about legal video downloads?
Could anyone direct me to a site that is *legally* distributing some decent divx videos? Homebrew shorts, stuff like that? Not any TV eps or movies. Thanks!

Where can I get simpsons/star trek/other?
Could anyone direct me to a decent site with no porn or "pLeAsE vOtE" banners that offers downloads of simpsons/star trek: The next generation, or other quality nerd viewing?

No point, really
If you have the capability to burn a word processor program onto a CD-R for use in your dreamcast, the odds are you have a computer you can use for word processing. Also, bear in mind that reading text on a TV screen is NOT fun - not in any non-sick-and-twisted way, at any rate.

Here's what I'd do:
First, uninstall and reinstall the drivers. If that doesn't work, try using the drive on a different pc, to see if it's a problem with the drive or not. If it's a problem with the drive, read the manual and check the website. If neither of these provide you with a brilliant insight into world peace ...
