I would donate cash to see Neveralball and Torus Trooper. Especially Torus Trooper.

But there needs to be a secure way to do it.

the 200mhz SH4 in the Dreamcast is about 360 MIPS.

A Pentium 200mhz is probably closer to 280 MIPS at my best estimate.

They are most certainly not comparable directly like that. There is a lot more power in the Dreamcast, it is just harder to get it out of it.

I think a way to try and get the word out (and make more money, by extension) is to try and get the games listed on major game websites. For example, getting the game information and release data listed on a site like GameFAQs (which is 4 million+ hits a day). I just searched "Feet of Fury"...

I like the idea of a music making program.

Perhaps it would be possible to save the music pattern to a VMU for trading with other people, too.

Who knows, maybe it could evolve into a Rez-like game, and that would be awesome.

I am in need of serious assistance regarding VMU's

So a stupid Hyper Pak (tm) corrupted my Rush 2049 100% save file. Well I figured I could download a new 100% save off the web, edit the player name and that is that. So I downloaded a 100% DCI file with the player name "Devious" and opened it up in Fhred, a hex editor. I located the two oc...

I'm seeing "dreamcast backups 2.00/each" as a spon

That is, as a sponsored link on the main page.

Wow, now that is real tasteful.

And if you click it, it is just what it says. Some guy selling pirated Dreamcast discs and Utopia boot CD's.

I think it's either bull or just for the arcade. I can't see what he means by "join team Rush" really, but I know the arcade machines were connected to profiles on the 'net, and perhaps you could "join team Rush" that way.

2049 is my fav game. I've completed 100% as far as I know. I've never heard of the things you are talking about.

But "team rush" reminds me of the large platform at the end of the gauntlet with the team Rush photo on it.

I think it'd be incredible if we started seeing 3D Dreamcast homebrew. Like along the lines of DCastle I suppose. Nothing fancy. A solid base to work off of. Kind of like what you'd expect out of Blitz 3D.

Sigh, if only programming for the DC was that easy.

downloading/uploading game saves

first of all i think i might have a nexus 4mb card. it doesnt have the vmu screen or buttons, but has a little button that cycles through 4 LEDs. so if i do, i dont have the transfer cable for it. but theoretically given that its possible to convert .vsi and .vms files into a .dci, cant i just downl...

I've already explored all overclocking options for my "hobby" PC in the basement.

It's not possible... yet. Modifying the PLL can make it possible?

I might try this because I have a spare DC motherboard etc...

But I'm wondering if it is possible to overclock a regular PC in the same fashion (a PC with no overclocking options that CPUFSB doesn't work on)?
