seems like a waste of effort to me, i mean he had that really tiny board ripped from a famiclone and went through all the trouble to rewire the cart port and ended up using a real nes board. i can sorta understand why he did it, but i would have rather taken the tiny unit and tried to make the carts...

I find it a bit ironic that you mention getting a legal copy of Bleem, the irony being Bleem deemed illegal and having the life sued out of them. I honestly hope someone figures out how to rip Bleemcast so it can be used on other games too; it's not like Bleem or Sony is losing any money now. when ...

Forget about the NES ports, thats what nester if for. Those games get old quick. The only one worth it I think is Zelda, but then you have that decision between Zelda I or A Link to the Past. Bullcrap! Super Mario Advance 4 is well worth it (that's the port of Super Mario 3). You have to get that. ...

I've been wondering...is that NES SP just some kind of cheap sticker on a grey case, or is it actually done like the old NES controllers; a piece of plastic glued onto the top its not a cheapo sticker like everyone seems to think, its a hard bit of plastic that stuck on there pretty well. it even h...

Megaman Battle Network 1,2,3 - Good solid modern RPGs, with a good battle system thats the first time ive heard soemone agree with me on that. but he should get all three used, since part 1 is impossible to find new nowadays, and part two is almost as rare. they all cost 15 bux at ebgames used and ...

ok, i dont think there is a single star trek geek, geeky enough to buy an apartment like that. i mean i could understand if it were just one room and just had a few scattered lcars panels, but that is just in-freakin-sane. as if being a trekie wasnt enough of a deterrant to getting laid.

you could install a region switch, which would involve soldering 3 wires to a switch so you can go between jpn and us. this site says how to do it. or if you dont feel like soldering you could try looking on ebay or an import game site for a 4 in one cart, those will work as a ram upgrade, a memory ...

well heres the thing, in star trek canon the warp scale is still the same one thats been used since tng, so there isnt anything above warp 10 unless you count that time in voyager when kes launced voyager at insane speeds(i think paris said something along the lines of warp 40) but that was almost d...

The prototype ship with cloaking you might be thinking of was from TNG, ship was called U,S,S Pegasus & had Phased Cloaking ( ability to move through objects ). I recalled this last night and did an edit, if I'd mentioned the phasing nature of the cloakin device it mighta made the thread seem e...

I was just reading through the thread again and came up with another glaring contradiction. If warp 10 is infinitely fast, why did Crusher order that her ship go warp 13 in the last episode of TNG? simple, remember when i said they recalibrate the warp scale every once in a while. starfle...

yeah in both armada games its the best all around ship, even better than the soveriegn. but the game got the size and capabilities wrong, its only a little bit smaller than a galaxy class ship, and its meant to be a carrier for peregrine class fighters, the notch on the front of the saucer is ctuall...
