One of my favourite bits of physics is the simple fact that a bee is one of the biggest paradoxes we know of, its wings simply shouldnt be able to support its body wieght in flight, they're too small & dont have enough power. Would a bee fall down if you explained this to it I wonder? Actually,...

Wow. Two great reactions :D Maybe it is just me. I just personally think that anger, rage and frustration are emotions that everybody has to deal with, some more often than others. I guess I wasn't saying that the Hulk is a believable character, I meant that Bruce Banner is a believable character. Y...

It's funny. I have not seen anyone else (other than me) speaking about other faiths other than Christianity or "Atheism." People should also read about Buddhism and Dauism and Islam(Most of the Judaic practices and rituals and items in their religious text can be found in the Old Testamen...
But isn't everyone the HULK at some point? Doesn't everybody get out of control like that? Powers aside, the Hulk is one of the most believable super-heroes IMO
Can people read? Didn't I say "Powers aside"?

Ok, on paper, I'm Roman Catholic. But really, I mainly believe what I said before about Jesus being basically a really good role model. As for god, I believe that there is one, because some things in my life make me believe that there is one. So really, I don't consider myself christian. I don't con...

But there is proof that stuff in the bible never actually happened. I think the bible is arbitrary anyway. Jesus was a good guy that did a lot of good things and taught others to do good things as well. Most christian people praise and follow god/jesus, but they don't actually follow his teachings. ...

Lartrak wrote:Semi-random is a contradiction, IMO. Oh well.
Semi-random is just random with constraints. The actual movement of the particles is random, but we can say roughly where they should go (90-95% certainty) so I wouldn't really call that completely random.

Think of it economically. If pot was legalized, even just in BC, pot WOULD be our largest export. If the govt. taxed it, the entire deficit would be gone in 3 years, and then we'd actually have some money to put into the military. Not to mention the boom to the snack food industry. I mean, convenien...

J/K I am not sure if meson exchange has been observed in a particle accelerator, but it has been mathematically proven. See, now the problem with this is that math was originally based on mechanical physics. Then people went nuts with math and started doing things with physics and they branched pre...

basically any hard alcohol. And if I drink beer, it's gonna be Canadian beer, not that beer-flavored water that they have in the states.

The biggest problem with this thread is that everybody is thinking in human, logical, terms. You're obsessed with cause and effect relationships, although even in science now they've disproven that theory. At least on a quantum mechanical level, all matter acts semi-randomly according to some probab...

In the tv show they changed his name to "David Banner." I really liked the movie. If anybody doesn't like it because it's slow or whatever, don't ever read the comics. The Hulk stories are almost always character driven, even more so than Spider-man, so if you're looking for an action flic...

No stack in SH4? My god that would make the code nasty. Haven't dealt with RISC much myself, though I did do a little motorola assembly.

Most CMOS's have an IRQ check in them though don't they? Just to see which IRq's are assinged to what? That could save some troubleshooting time, although besides the ones that are doubled, it'll probably just say "unidentified" or something.
