Well, to hell with the guys at consolevision... I go to their channel asking about connecting the internet with my PS2 and they tell me to get rid of my PS2 and get an XBox... sorry guys, I don't want an Xbox, here's the reason why 1. Despite Xbox Live being the "Best source of internet gamepla...

Cake
I like Cake, man I can eat that stuff for hour and hours, but then it would probably make me fat. Nothing is better than a large piece of chocolate cake and a bottle of Jack Daniels to wash it down (Milk is for the weak:) Some people can't eat cake because they think that its "bad for them"...

Hmh... PS2 Discs, what's the difference?
I've been trying to determine what is so special about the PS2 discs. I think I've narrowed it basically down to Blue Disc - Your average CD Silver Disc - Your average DVD however, there has been more added to this taxing equation. I tried using a regular silver DVD in the system. Sure enough, it wo...

Gosh you stupid Isamu
After careful observation, Isamu realizes that his PS2 that he had purchased that did not function has regular average everyday joe-shmoe phillips screws. DOH! So I open the thing up... Compressed air did not seem to be my magical cure, however 150 dollar Sony medicine doesn't exactly sound like a b...

Heh... makes sense
After all, those people who bought the Xbox with hopes of lots of games on it (other than ports of ps2 and PC games on it :P) will have something to do for the next 3 years. (Blasphomey, eh?:)

Well, well, well... the first problem is the whole oddly shaped star-bit, how did you get your system open without the proper tools? I hate using improper tools, mainly because you can gunk the bits, and that's a bitch when it comes to either taking in apart later or putting it back together to begi...

This may sound absolutely absurd, but how difficult do you guys think it would be to make a DC with some sort of motorized CD tray deal? Yeah, I know it would probably not exactly be the most practical thing, even if it would be a huge pain in the ass to assemble, but hell, everyone else is joy-rigg...

Xbox version of PSO? Eh?
I haven't heard anything but rumors... kind of like the whole "HEY GUYS! DREAMCAST IS BACK WITH A DVD PLAYER!" Heh, as far as I can tell the only system getting PSO is Gamecube. Besides PSO is neither a racing game, nor a wrestling game, so I doubt it will see the bright green gooey glow o...

The warranty is already up on it so whether I take it apart or not means nill... It plays DVD games just fine (oddly enough) but not the movies. It going to the memory manager is not normal at all, its supposed to boot straight to the PS2 logo. I need to know mainly where to purchase tools to open t...

PS2 not playing DVDs, but playing games just fine.. well...
Well... kind of, it seems this PS2 that was brought to me during my day job at the local Player's Choice Videogame store does not seem to play DVD's, but plays games. The thing is the game always boots to the memory manager/version screen, then to the game. Does anyone know a solution to this proble...

Sorry guys, at the moment it is only destined for the RedNeckX-Box. Guess you can enjoy all the glory of wrestling and nascar after playing your Japanese skating game.

Musician looking for work on any DC homebrew project....
'sup guys... well, this is quite simple, fairly frank, I'm bored and wish to contribute to some sort of project for DC in the works. I've been working with electronic music for quite some time, and have been doing sound design for Hour 13 Studio's. Currently I've completed a soundtrack to a puzzle g...
