I don't think you realize something, in a console, they olny need to write the bios one (ok, revisions can are done, but it basicly needs to be made once) A computer has varying hardware, a console does not, so a lot of things need to be considered once in it. How a cpu works and now it funtions are...

linux and wince for dreamcast were ported to the sh4 (considering linux and it's vairaints are on the most different types of systems, that one is pretty obious) and 'Backwards compatible' and being able to run on hardware designed for the older cpu are two entirely different things. Software is alw...

The Dreamcast is the olny game system ever (sadly) to be able to produse a true vga signal on it's own (uses a regular pc video chipset), all the vga box does basicly is switch the dreamcast into vga mode (instead of tv mode) and provide the plug for a monitor. Besides, the quality would suck if it ...

It's a bit much to boycot a company just because they don't wish to put online features in their xbox titles, i'm glad someone decided to say no to micro$oft's online plan and i wish more would, it would just make it hard for the makers of the game to do what they want to the servers (to make the ga...

1280*1024 is too much for a gf2mx in epsxe usually, I'd set it at a maximum of 1024*768 @16 bit, but it's best at 800*600 @ 32 bit (640*480 @ 32 bit with 2x fsaa) don't use screen smoothing, texture filtering can be set to anything really. For sound, eternals pluging are best (turning on the square ...

Search the hardware fourm for vmu mods and you should eventually find a link with pics of some. I just used some things from radio shack. the mod is very easy to do, just need a battery holder (4 AA or AAA batteries provide 6 volts needed by the vmu) and some wires to connect postive to postive and ...

Sega brand mouse mod questions

After looking at my mouse for my dreamcast (sega's own brand) a bit i got to thinking, i can't reach the side button on the mouse unless i really reach for it. Is there a way i could put it in a better position? After looking inside it doesn't look entirely possible (but i've never modded anything a...
