So take the MP3s and convert them to WAVs. No problem. MP3s are useful for transferring purposes. WAV files are much bigger.

I can take care of the music.

Yo!!!! I love Zelda!! Awesome! BTW, I can take care of the music! I have pro audio equipment, including a keyboard (XP-30 +orchestral expansions) with killer orchestral sounds. Gimme some MIDI files and I'll turn em into MP3s for ya. I got digital equipment, so it'll be good quality, without hissing...

I don't think that'll ever happen. Theres no way to insert the necessary code to use the BBA into games. However, why not use a DC-PPP server. Buy a cheap modem for your computer and attach it to your dreamcasts modem. You can use this to connect to the broadband connection from your dreamcast, thro...

Anyhow, back to the topic, I think a server for PSO v2 should not be made until the Sega servers go down. PSO v1 is free to play, so playing on your own server would not be taking anything away from Sega. However, PSO v2 costs money, so using a homebrew server for it might fall out under 'stealing s...

Hey. Nice to see this project on its feet.
Has anyone else gotten the Dc-PP server to work. mine doesn't wanna connect. I can't tell if the modem is dialing or not.
Also, can anyone set up a proxy server and Snort so we won't have to bother with the DC-PP server.

Chill,

hmm, but the DNS is teken, and i doubt sega are going to release it any time soon I think you have terms mixed up IP address = numerical address of server which you need to connect to (ex: 63.54.34.1) Domain name = Names which are assigned to IP adresses to make them more convenient to remember (ex...

the IP, or location or whatever of the server would have to be in the game We resolved that already. Only the domain name (ex. pso.sega.net) of the server is stored in PSO. The PSO sends this name into a DNS server and gets back an IP address (ex. 643.127.6.3) which it later connects to. So, you co...

Yo. I have this problem too. I have no idea how to fix it, but since I only have 1 divx movie, I gave up pretty quickly. Any ideas anyone? I have the latest VirtualDub, and I had Divx 3.11 until I installed 4.0 over it.
Thanks

I don't think there's a way to connect straight your BBA to your broadband. However, I do know how you can use the broadband with the dc. Set up a DC-PPP server with your computer. Connect to your computer through your DC's modem. You can then play these games through the broadband connected to your...

Its a good idea, but 1 big problem. The PC version is not nearly completed and is due to be released much later in the year. The Demo is very early and doesn't support online play. It could be a year or so before we have a PC PSO online that we can hack. However, I think I have an idea to catch the ...

would you need to be running PSO through your computer or could you just run it on you normal dreamcast modem connection ? You would have to run it through your computer because you need PSO to access your homemade server rather than the Sega PSO server. If you run it through your computer, you can...

Using the DC Modem is no problem, because your using it throught the PSO software. Your just dialing into your computer instead of an ISP. No need to program for the modem. Check out http://www.dcvision.com/Mterlouw (updated version of above PPP server link) to see how to set up a connection between...

Somebody would also have to figure out how to make PSO connect to their server. I think you can use Winroute Lite (the program used for the PPP server) to route any data coming from to the Dreamcast to a certain address (aka a friends computer). I'm gonna check out how these Everquest fans are crac...

Yo. Sounds like a cool idea. The first thing I'd do is set up a DC-PPP server, so your dreamcast goes onto the internet through your computer. Check out http://home.elp.rr.com/terlouw/DCWinMEServer.htm . The page also has info on how to set up PSO to play through your computer. Then get a program to...
