i look the source of neocd emu, but it have the memory part emulated on asm, and ElSemi tells me that adding that to mame isn't easy :/
Btw, Warmtoe, using a asm core for 68k how much do you think that speed would be increased?

callus cannot says that needs 20mb of ram, because it dont has cps2 suport ^^ and ssf2x version of dc .... its mostly a cps2 emu :) has the region stuff too

I've done the two RCA stuff and it worked very good, you can plug a PC speakers to it and you will have stereo sound at normal volume.

but for use those displays you will need a codificators (is this the word on english?) and surely somo other gates to display the words (we do that on class last week :))

but it uses asm core for the M68k :( anyway check ace.emuunlin.com

but I really thinks that a cps1 emu will be possible, for example, Final Figth its about 1,2Mb zipped, it will perfectly fit on dc.

no, Nrgx isn't open source, I know only 2 open source ng emus: mame and a.c.e. and nrgx is coded all in asm so...

some time ago I posted a site with a open source neo geo cd emu, it was for MSDOS and in C with some ASM code, sure that it can be ported.

btw I will ask to ElSemi (nebula & dreamer author) if tehoricaly DC will can handle a neo cd emu.
