It all depends on the software being ported, there is no software source out there which will 'not' need tweeking with untill it runs on a dreamcast. I just had a look, its all object based c++, which is fine by me, but not by my compiler.

All in all, the system looks pretty simple, but point and click adventures on the dreamcast??

why do you guys keep saying it needs 32 megs of ram i had a 166 cyrix with 16 megs of ram and i used to play quake 2 online all the time you figure i was running windows 95 that used 4 or 5 megs there and there must have beens other programs inside the basic mem so i think it can run on 16 megs Eve...

Ive just read through some of the code, the only assembler code is for making performance counters from the CPU, the rest is procedure based C code, which would port very nicely. Quake2 originally supported OpenGL, a software renderer, MiniGL for 3dFX and PowerVR. There is no 'complex' opengl stuff ...

...because i dont. All down to the problem of the Dreamcast rebooting.

Ive made my own, converted it to Nero, checked RAW write, made my own, wtf?

Has anyone 'had' this problem, but then made a version that worked, if so can i PLZ have your version!!
