Well... you just need a few mathematic skills to "compress" multiple values into a single parm... And you must be using that chasecam code that I see on every mod out there... Well, here's a solution: save the chasecam flag into a parm like parm16, and put the following line in DecodeLeve...

Painting and Cutting

I've luckily got a 2nd dreamcast to mod. Can people suggest to me the: - best paint to use to (not spray paint, "brush" on stuff) - the best tool for cutting (hopefully) cool and stylish "holes" in the case Also I'm a Brit, so they'd have to be items avaliable over here. Cheers a...

Lost World was model 3, that not being on dc was pretty much my biggest dc-related disppointment.

"although thinking about it Crazy Taxi is damn odd - how many Taxi drivers do *you* know who make money by being fast rather than taking the scenic route and leaving the meter running...."

That's also why raptors! was only 5 levels long, you can just sit and play it through in one sitting :)

Good luck to you Tyme. Sorry but I can't offer any mapping help; partly 'cos I'm no good, but also 'cos i'm in the middle of 2 mods and the mapping comp at Inside3d....
Can't wait to see what you've done though :)

I'd agree with tyne that if you don't make it self-booting, it saves on cdr's and therefore money, but it is possible to selfboot quake.
I use an incredibly long-winded method, so I won't bore you with it. If you get one of the burning utilities SBB etc., they support Quake.

Oh man, there's sooo many problems with this scene ..... ...but without opening old wounds, I'll just say that at the end of the day (cliche #57, page 123, The Big Book of Cliches) it's as much fun as you make it; get involved in stuff, make friends, start humoruos off-topic threads, try burning as ...

Yeah the "release the source" campaign was pretty sad, they kinda pushed the bloke into a corner, and he stood his ground - on an issue he was probably going to address anyway. It annoyed me 'cos yes, the GPL is a good thing, but everyone knows it's a bit of mess generally, and there could...

Saw Lord of the Rings today ......

I took 2 of my children with me, I explained that I'd first read the books when I was 9, nearly 28 years ago. I'd been waiting for a decent film ever since. Now I'm no Tolkien-fan-obsessive but the books were without doubt the best books I read as a child, so without entering into AICN talkbacker te...

I think it's an immense miscalculation to suggest the majority of people are unappreciative or moaning etc. Even if the majority of forum messages were negative (which they're not) that's still the tip of the iceberg, As an example: the upload site that got the smallest amount of downloads of Raptor...

cmtz: i don't need to: i know that crt0 is a great coder, and that our scene has some cool stuff because of him, that is not in doubt. but... oh god i cant be bothered, just read my other stuff. In a nutshell this scene needs a more generous, mature and positve attitude than that for it to survive a...

"If you guys don't like it, I don't have to do a damn thing for you. Keep that in mind." My point, my point exactly. "And as for "Thank you for my time", that's a goddamn JOKE, but I'll be damned if you can bother to see it that way" Fine, but in the context of your ge...
