On Wordpad, it IS Arial. I'm not sure about Notepad.

I have the same problem, that's why I don't play games on the PC (except for DooM). I probably don't have the right drivers for my cheap video card.

I think that Xbox is gonna be the next home of emulation, with it's hard drive and all, but I really think you should get a PS2. It has great games like Grand Theft Auto 3, Metal Gear Solid 2, Smackdown Just Bring It, and Twisted Metal Black, for example.
