There has only been one public release of DCGen, and its still very early in its development. The only advice I can offer is do not use full screen mode. On the flipside there is a new release of Kega (Genesis/SegaCD/GG/SMS emu for the PC) and it rocks!!! http://www.eidolons-inn.de/kega/download.html

Download the Dreamcast Memory Flasher.
http://www.revels.fslife.co.uk/
It will wipe all of your DC's internal memory (isp settings, PSO key, etc...)
WARNING Do not use this if you play Phantasy Star Online because it will wipe your key!!!

It has a z80. Heliophobe covered this in another thread. The Genesis/MegaDrive used a z80 for sound processing. This is why the first public release of DCGen only makes pops and clicks, it did not have proper z80 emulation. Most likely someone came to this conclusion because the powerbase converter ...

Kega 0.04b
A new version of Kega is out, and it now supports SMS/GG emulation. http://www.eidolons-inn.de/kega/download.html If you have never heard of Kega, its an excellent Genesis/SegaCD/SMS/GG emulator for the PC (made by Steve Snake of KGen fame). Its fast, accurate, and it's sound emulation is almost per...

Glad you got it working again, but I would watch those two 10 ohm resistors carefully for signs of overheating. TDA did the same mod and although it has been working fine for months he mentioned in another thread that they didnt look to good anymore. It might be a good idea to replace them with a 4....

Terminal Velocity is based on an entirely different engine, and it is open source. However, most of it is x86 assembley which makes porting very difficult. Luckily there are a few projects devoted to porting Terminal Velocity to linux, and they are converting the assembley components to c which mak...

R.I.P. FPSE
Hi to all, this is LDChen. Since I have seen that people asks so much and italian language is not understood by everyone, here you are an english-like message. STATUS: FPSE is dead. I'm only waiting to receive the Linux version for closing everything. When the longest time-waited port of the story ...

Without going into too much detail, I dont think Randy's methods would work as well on commercial games. Since bleem itself isnt very big, there was lots of extra room on the cd for garbage data (invalid toc, invalid blocks, incorrect crcs, etc) to hide the real code in. Not to mention the difficult...
